There's a bunch of iPhone 7 Plus shipping out from ZhengZhou, CN sometime soon. Mine has been sitting there for about 60 hours with an original delivery date of 9/16, which has been clearly missed and pushed back to 9/20 for where I live in Indianapolis.
Maybe pick it up and then cancel the order. I wouldn't cancel the order until you have the model that you want in your own hands.
Mine was at PFS at Friday morning (early as hell). It just changed to Shipped this morning and should be here end of day Tuesday.
Original Delivery Date: 9/36-10/3
I hope mine moves that quickly - I'm on leave from work and I would love to get it before I have to go back!

.Is anyone's else's iPhone stuck in ZhengZhou? I got my tracking number almost 30 hours ago and it said it was there. 30 hours with no additional scans makes me question where it is and if it will still actually get here on Tuesday..
Many folks, including me, received shipping notifications early this morning for deliveries on Tuesday. My phone is in ZhengZhou. I understand you received your shipping notification much earlier, but it looks like your phone will shipping with others that only recently received notifications.
See, normally I would, because I've always been one of those "OMG, be patient. It'll get there!" people, but when UPS doesn't even know where, for sure, my phone is, then I have a bit of a problem with that.just see what tomorrow brings, you'll get it
Edit: and after Apple said I could cancel the order and pick up in store, the option isn't there online. Sigh. I give up.
As long as it gets out of CGO in the next 12 hours you should be fine (actually we should be fine...I have two in that same shipment batch).
As I noted above, CGO to Seoul to Anchorage is a pretty standard route in past years and a freighter is due to go from CGO to Seoul in about 3 hours.

Actually, I'm glad you didn't cancel. If you go to the store tomorrow, and they have the one you want, they should be able to cancel the original order right there. I'm afraid that you might have made things worse...maybe not, but it could have. Hoping you get it tomorrow. So sorry for the difficulties: it's so frustrating.
I really hope it shows up tomorrow - fingers crossed for you!!
