iPhone 7/7+ Apple.com Pre-Order Thread

Oops. I had it set to arrivals not departures. So there is no 3:30 am to ICN from CGO. in fact I don't see any freighters outbound to ICN. Sigh.

There is a 1am local to ANC on Y8 (Yangtze River Express Cargo) but I don't know.

Edited to add that this ANC flight appears to have been cancelled. Double sigh.

I'm still waiting on a UPS status update on my initially promised launch day delivery. I'm part of #TeamTyphoon that got screwed. Saturday delivery changed by UPS to Monday so I put in the Will Call to hold at the UPS CC. It left yesterday morning from Oakland as a departure scan and it's been over 24 hours since it left and there's no arrival scan at all to Sunnyvale.

But I know it should be there since my friend who lives in the same city and was in the same Typhoon plane that mine was on got hers delivered Saturday. I think if UPS didn't say they would change my date to Monday, I wouldn't be so mad. If I had just left it despite seeing a Monday delivery that it would have been delivered yesterday.

I just emailed UPS help to see if they have any additional info. I just want this whole nightmare experience to be over already and pick it up Monday morning at 9 am. I think I maybe one of the last two in Team Typhoon that haven't received my iPhone (the other being the person from FL - Blueline29)

Just got my card charged, and is now in preparing for shipment. Still says 10/10-10/17 delivery date. Hoping it changes tomorrow.

FedEx or UPS won't unless Sat delivery is paid for! Nothing is done for free these days. You would think world is coming to because someone has to wait till Monday to get an IPhone.

My point about Fedex is that Saturday is a business day for them whereas, for UPS, Saturday is not a typical business day for deliveries, and you do have to pay extra for UPS to make Saturday delivery. With Fedex, if Apple pays for two day shipping, and your package is shipped on a Thursday, Fedex will deliver it on Saturday. With the same scenario with UPS, they'll typically deliver on the following Monday.

All that said, my Fedex driver friend had a rough couple of days on Friday and Saturday. Kind of like when Cliff Claven dreaded Sears catalog day.

I've seen that in prior years here and mine did that as well. The tracking headline goes from "In Transit to UPS" to "In Transit: On-Time". So I assume this is a non-UPS trucking firm picking up the phones/pallets from the factory and taking them to a UPS facility at the airport.

Good luck. Originally scheduled for last Friday, mine still says "Scheduled Delivery: Information Unavailable" with a Departure Scan from DFW Airport last Thursday night. I'm ready for it to either be delivered on Monday or Apple to ship a replacement.

I have the same scans with my tracking number (and I ordered the same phone). Hoping to see some movement soon; especially with all the orders that have been messed up and rerouted all over the country/world.

Maybe pick it up and then cancel the order. I wouldn't cancel the order until you have the model that you want in your own hands.

This and the other consideration is that you will have 2 phones charged to your credit card for awhile.

Yeah, I've seen the same experience with others who ordered about 2:16AM CST and 2:08am CST. That were prepare for shipment rather than mine.

I think it's slightly random, cause as you mentioned you finished at 3:12 ES.

I think for sure yours will be prepare

Me too! I honestly think we both got punk'd by UPS this year. Never had problem with them until this year. That Typhoon really set off a chain of events that messed everything off.

My matte Black 7+ 129gb ordered on 9-9 just changed from processing to PFS . Was in 10/4-10/10 group . Hopefully will be delivered this week . Hopefully won't have issues that other good mac rumor members have had with UPS.

Thanks for sharing. I hope you get yours too on Monday. It's weird that there was a departure scan from airport but no arrival scan to local UPS CC. But I know for sure it should have arrived because my friend who got the Saturday delivery scan showed it arrived 45 min after the departure scan and then was out for delivery soon after. I hope the reason it hasn't updated in the system is because the CC is closed on weekends and no one is here to scan and update the system. Let me know of your status on Monday if you got your phone.

Ordered a gold iphone 7 128G from Apple on Saturday 9/10. Confirmation said delivery between 9/26 and 9/26. The other day received shipping notice for Monday, 9/19. Woohoo! Quick service! It went from Shanghai to Tokyo to Anchorage to Louisville. So, I didn't order the black or jet-black. You gotta problem wit dat? That's Philly attytude.
