Screen size initially for sure. For what I do with the phone the larger screen makes a difference. The better camera is also a big deal. It will feel large initially but once you get used to it the smaller phone may feel tiny.
My JB 128 plus has been preparing for shipment for almost 2 days. Since my CC already was charged the tax I expect to see a change by tomorrow.
My 128 Gold has already shipped and gets to me Wednesday and so does my Apple Watch which shipped a day before.
However, 128 Plus Black ordered 20 minutes into the night still says Processing... that one had a delivery date of 10/3-10/10.. we'll see if anything changes soon..

Still in ZhengZhou (according to the tracking number) and still saying it's expected Tuesday. China to Pennsylvania in two days? I guess it's possible..

Not sure what you mean exactly, other than to consider if ones ordered through Apple for AT&T would be handled differently.. but yeah I think I saw AT&T (thru Apple) orders later than mine stating they got shipped...
Yes, mine has been sitting in ZingZing, China or wherever the heck it is for a bit of time now. I suspect it will update tomorrow and show that it's well into the states. I have a feeling all will be okay!!!
Yep, it's a different model/part number for each carrier due to the differing SIM cards. I wonder if they will implement the Apple SIM in the iPhone 8...

Yeah thats my concern too. I'm up in MA and I know from experience the flight time from Asia to the East Coast can easily be upwards of 20 hours, and that's only with one layover :/ but as the poster i quoted below said, there's a chance they're moving. Ours are all probably in the same shipment.
I really do hope you're right! I know UPS can be slow to update their system so I'm trying to be optimistic that that's the case but its so hard lol
Oh and to the poster who asked about why the Plus - not only is the camera better, so is the PPI, battery life, and screensize. I've had a Note 3 now, and I'm actually afraid the 7+ won't be big enough for me.

Screen size, better battery, faster, better cameras. I've had the Gold 6Plus for two years and could not go back now. We travel a lot and I am going to finally leave my iPad at home and "travel light" with only my Rose Gold iPhone 7Plus. I am getting the rose gold leather Case-Mate folio case so it will stand up horizontally to watch movies on the plane to Europe.

Absolutely. I did it today. Made an 11 o clock reservation at apple and cancelled my pre-order around 9:30. Currently typing from a matte black 7+ I would've had to wait until 10/4-10-10 for.

Don't cancel any current orders until you have the phone in your hands
