I reserved as if I was buying though the apple upgrade program, but they let me pay full price without activating in the store. I'm going to put my AT&T sim in it.

Aren't the Verizon/Sprint models incompatible with ATT/T-Mobile models?

My understanding is that the Verizon model has both cdma and gsm chips and the verizon phone is unlocked from their network
Oh I had it backwards, the change affects the T-Mobile/ATT models ability to work on Verizon/Sprint. My bad.
3 Days. Email early this morning that it shipped. UPS says 9/21. Original dates 9/28-30. AT&T Rose Gold 128GB 7+
Just tried istock now. Easy. Seattle area has next to nothing. Univ village had a couple. Guess I'll stick with my 7 matte 128. Move to plus next year. I have att. Do I need a new SIM card?? I am heading to apple tomorrow for a little help setting up and install screen protector. Case not here yet but I got an interim. Tomorrow night I should be using my new phone. My granddaughter awaiting my 6 to replace 5 but can't unlock until Tuesday.
Yes, the Verizon model (and one other, I think Sprint) have both radios whereas AT&T and Tmobile only have GSM

I thought other sims didn't work in Verizon phones lol.
I have AT&T and reserved/picked up a Verizon Plus. I was replacing my AT&T phone that arrived damaged on Friday. Flat out told two Apple employees I plan to use the Verizon model on my network, and they had no issues. They did mention that it had to be paid in full, which is what I was doing anyway. I just put my sim in, and I'm set!
The Verizon/Sprint phones are the same CDMA model which includes all bands from both GSM models (US/Japan).
I believe the only issue you may have is with using a Verizon phone on Sprint or vice versa. CDMA carriers whitelist IMEI/MEID numbers so the list they get from Apple may not have another carrier's. I know Sprint has a (poorly documented) process for whitelisting a known phone.
Kind of messing me up.. I see people with order dates later than mine for the same configuration all getting shipment dates, but mine (ordered 12:08am) still says Sept 27-29 6-8 days Standard shipping. I've been charged and in Preparing for Shipment for like, over 3 days.

I would kill to get a PFS. My delivery window for the JB 7+ 256GB is the 21st-28th. Ordered at 17:04 Sydney time on the 9th. Getting old.
Ordered a JB iPhone 7+ 128GB (Verizon) on 09/09 at 3:15am EST. Today it changed to PFS, and my credit card was charged. My ship dates still say Oct 4 - Oct 10th. However, someone posted on here that they think a whole bunch of iPhone 7 Pluses will ship out this week, and I agree with them.
Same thing with me. I have a jet black 7+ on backorder until November, so I went to the Aventura Apple Store in Florida, did the online reservation for a 7+ 128 Black but they would not allow me to buy it at full price, it had to be through the upgrade program.
