I've had iPhones requested for holding at a UPS CC without any delays before. This one was delayed because of the Typhoon initially and then for some odd reason missed 2 flights from Louisville to Oakland even though it landed about 2.5 hours before the last flight left that night which should have been plenty of time (in past years if it was within 1.5 hours it would make it - not this year though). I think missing the flight to Oakland was a mistake on UPS's part. They tried to make it up because of the delay and provided a Saturday delivery. But I had to lift the Will Call hold. But for some odd reason it also changed my delivery to Monday instead of Saturday even though my friend's phone arrived on Saturday and she lives close to where I live and her iPhone was on all the same planes and scans as mine. Long story short, I think as long as it's a UPS CC, you'll be fine. I read from others if you chose a UPS Store, that maybe delayed.

Well, I have two phones that are due to arrive tomorrow. One shows as just arrived and scanned in Anchorage (from Zhengzhou to Seoul to Anchorage). The other still shows a Tuesday delivery but still remains as "In Transit to UPS" in Zhengzhou.
Doesn't look good for the second one unless the pallet/group was not scanned in Zhengzhou or Seoul or another UPS asian portal.

It's hard to be sane watching the phone flying across pacific, with no news until the next scan. Lol

how are those phones different? i'm in the second scenario you described and REALLY hope they just missed the earlier scans...
In the same boat. This is getting really old. I'm in the same boat. Hopefully we have something besides processing.

How would we know anything if it's not being scanned? I called up UPS and they told me it was still in China even though it had a scheduled delivery date of Tuesday end of day. Then 1 hour ago it was pushed to Wednesday end of day. Hope it magically appears tomorrow and wasn't scanned throughout... (doubtful though)
One was origin scanned on 9/17 the other on 9/18 and I was notified they had shipped about 24 hours apart, though both show delivery on the 20th.
The one in Anchorage is the one that was shipped first and origin scanned on the 17th.
gotcha, looks like 18ths will all eventually be delayed to wednesday instead of tuesday....
I have the same thing.. Mine was even held by customs.. Shipped on the 16th and still not here. I have no idea why it is taking so long, it usually goes a lot quicker. It even said Monday delivery at one point, then Tuesday and now it needs to be rescheduled..

I think what he is saying is someone had posted the radio's are different in the Verizon/ATT models. Basically saying you cant' use an ATT SIM in a VW phone.

Yeah, I was hoping it would be a few yen off the phone or something like that, but oh well... Although, I'm not sure this is AU's fault... It seems as though Apple has decided to prioritize getting stock to stores in North America over honoring preorders in other parts of the world. I've never ordered directly from Apple Japan because I don't have a Japanese credit card, and foreign CCs just seem to confuse the hell out of most Japanese companies I've found, so I've always ordered from the carrier and have never had any trouble getting my phone. This year is a first.
