iPhone 7/7+ Apple.com Pre-Order Thread

Preordered T-Mobile 7+ 256 JB, and got my order confirmation at 2:08am CT. Got delivery date of 9/26-10/3. It went into PFS last Thursday/Friday, got a pending charge on my cc, but hasn't change since then. Anyone else getting theirs shipped for this specific model?

Not yet. I've never had one come this late on launch day, let alone a day later than that. Ugh. Again, I have stuff to do tonight but have to sit and wait for UPS to decide whether or not they feel like showing up.

Yeah, I was hoping it would be a few yen off the phone or something like that, but oh well... Although, I'm not sure this is AU's fault... It seems as though Apple has decided to prioritize getting stock to stores in North America over honoring preorders in other parts of the world. I've never ordered directly from Apple Japan because I don't have a Japanese credit card, and foreign CCs just seem to confuse the hell out of most Japanese companies I've found, so I've always ordered from the carrier and have never had any trouble getting my phone. This year is a first.

Yeah, foreign credit cards. One would like to think Apple would be better with them, but you don't want to end up stuck. I'm glad au doesn't require a credit card from you. I heard that they (might?) require one for at least new foreign applicants.

Though, it seems that stock is starting to move for Japan, so you could be in for a surprise. I forget, though, what time did you place your order?

My iPhone is currently sitting in Anchorage with delivery tomorrow between 1pm-5pm; anyone have any ideas on when they will ship down to the contiguous states? And will they all ship to Louisville and disperse from there or will they ship to different airports from Anchorage?

What time did it arrive in Anchorage? This is mostly a refuel/crew change stop so the phones stay on the inbound plane/flight.

Generally all the goods get shipped to Louisville for customs clearance and then shipment to the end points.

It JUST showed up! There's a pretty ugly storm going on right now, so I was worried that might bump it to tomorrow, but thankfully I was wrong!

Based on the demand they likely had some calculation that spaced out dates as orders progressed. Based on all the Oct 4-10 orders going out the last couple days I'd be surprised if you got even close to November. I'm guessing beginning of October possibly sooner, they seem to be catching up pretty well.

They have my U.S. bank issued Visa, but that's because we travel a lot and don't want to be bothered with arranging for bills to be paid in our absence. But there's never been a problem with them being able to use it, and they don't seem to treat it any differently unlike many other companies who have asked for me to photocopy the front and back of my CC and send to them because it's a non-Japanese CC. Uh, no. I will not be doing that, thank you very much.

Just curious, where are you seeing that stock is moving? I'm wondering if this is just for orders from the Apple Store though, as there's been no movement from that site you linked me to a few days ago. Any movement on yours?

So this just happened...I don't have another order through AT&T with this number. I called Apple and they apologized and said they could place an order for me and process it ASAP...so we'all see. At this point I'm over the whole process.
