iPhone 7/7+ Apple.com Pre-Order Thread

I pre-ordered a 7+ Matte black 32 gb through Verizon on 9/10 - no movement and still stuck with estimated ship date of 10/5. Anyone have any recommendation on whether I should stick with this order, or cancel and order on apple.com?

I got my phone: pre order time was 3:20 a.m. Original ship date was 9/27-9/30. Got shipment notification on 9/17. Got here about 30 mins ago and now it's updating.

That's a tough call. You'd have to check the Verizon thread to see how things are moving. I'm a T-Mobile customer and went through a nightmare ordering from them last time. It would have been faster to go directly with Apple. We'll see if that is still the case.

Well, I am hoping to get my phone tomorrow, though it is showing still stuck in Korea, hopefully it has missed a scan or on the polar air cargo flight. Fingers crossed, will get it tomorrow.

My 128GB Jet Black 7 plus was ordered at 12:04am on 9/9 and I had a delivery of 10/4 to 10/6. It just shipped and now says it'll be here on Friday. Yay. UPS tracking says it's in ZhengZhou, China now

Yeah, Foxconn has been moving majority of capacity out of Shenzen to ZZ because it is cheaper for them to produce inland. So most are seeing ZZ to Incheon. UPS has a dedicated flight to get to Incheon from ZZ as of a few years ago according to this article: https://www.ups.com/content/cn/en/about/news/20121017_flight.html I am wondering if we cannot track this flight though, as they say it's a dedicated 767 that flies M-Friday. However this article was from 2012.

Interesting but the flight is just not showing up on flight aware or flightradar24. Even ferry flights show up on flightradar24 so wonder if the service was cancelled.

I think my phone is the only one coming from Shanghai. My launch day delivery was also from Shanghai. But every year previously, it came from ZhengZhou.

So this link has the UPS flight routes that are known to carry iPhone shipments. Check your UPS event scans (arrival and departure times), and you can make an educated guess which flight carries your iPhone.

For instance, UPS myChoice says my package departed Incheon Korea 10:34pm 9/20 local time so likely it's on UPS99.

I'm thinking it likely won't be delivered by the original date of tomorrow. It still has to go from AK to Louisville, to AZ. Probably Thursday 9/22.

There are lots of flights but no other UPS flights at that time, or even close. Maybe the OP messed up the time zones or something.

Well UPS64 is airborne out of ANC destined for ICN... It's a 747. I didn't look to see if it was a regular flight or not, but I assume once it lands it's going to pick up a bunch of crap (that being our phones) and head back to Anchorage. Unless they fly that thing direct to ATL, I won't be getting my phone tomorrow! lol

I'm still showing just the 7:53pm arrival into ICN. No departure.
