When I called and talked to UPS this morning they said that my phone would be going straight from Hong Kong to Louisville, so we'll see if that actually happens or not.

I just got another update - Departure Scan from Hong Kong at 7:13pm local time (less than an hour ago). I guess the Louisville scan was bogus, no hope of seeing my phone today.

Just checked - mine departed at the same time. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. At least our phones are keeping each other company...

I'm in NYC. Can anyone explain to me why my phone would go from Louisville to Hong Kong. That just makes zero sense to me. I know there are a bunch of UPS experts out there. Did they mess up somewhere?

There is hope for the people that were stuck in Zhengzhou, my phone magically showed up in Louisville this morning and is on its way to my local hub to go out for delivery hopefully today. So, my phone somehow missed a lot of scans, maybe my phone is a criminal on the loose and decided to skip security checks and all...LOL

Yup mine just left Hong Kong. Apple originally said 9/22 delivery and it looks like they knew best. I can live with that. Will be pissed if it slips until Friday. I have a doorman so I don't need to stay home but this must be super frustrating to those who have to adjust work schedules. Also, what's UPS's deal? What are our phones taking the Anthony Bourdain tour? Hitting up three Asian countries before coming to the US? Seems inefficient and much slower than usual.

My phone is actually about 15 mins from my house on a truck. I live upstate NY and it is currently in upstate NY...but it's still not showing a delivery date. Contacted UPS and they stated that if the package reaches my town by 10 am I will have it today if not it will be delivered tomorrow. I am hoping for today as I fly to Florida tomorrow and won't be back until next week!

Order 7-128gb-jb- finally my cc shows the authorization and my order has changed to preparing for shipment. Delivery window still says 10/4 to 10/10

Finally got shipment notice this morning. Departed ZhengZhou at 5:33pm local time. Apple says delivers 9/27, but UPS tracking says by end of day 9/23.

Thanks for the update. Per google search, it seems like the Louisville scan is the paperwork for clearing customs.

Original ship date of Oct 4-10 , went from processing to shipped over the weekend. Now my est. delivery is for tom. I live in NJ. Pre Ordered at 3:30 am... Ordered same phone for my father (7+ 128gb Black) only a few mins after my order and his hasn't shipped and is stuck on processing. His shipping date is stuck at Oct 4-10 , still processing... Hope this can help!

One question, in Deliveries app for iPhone, notifies you when the status changes to:
Shipping Preparation?
So as not to have to be looking at the web every 5 minutes hehe

It should do, but not instantaneously.

Ok, so my tracking number just updated. Keep in mind, I've been seeing an import scan at 3:38 A.M. this morning in Lousiville. Now, all of the sudden, this NEW update shows up with a time of 2:09 A.M. - "A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible. / Your delivery has been rescheduled for the next business day."
