Well, from going to bed last night with my phone stuck in China, to waking up after it was somehow teleported to Louisville, and now out for delivery even after getting multiple exception/delay e-mails, I'm happy with the current status but not with the process of getting here. Oh well.

You do know that the T-Mobile one isn't "truly" unlocked, right?

Unlocked iPhone with T-Mobile SIM - that's what I saw when making an order.
I always purchase a T-Mobile one to use it in Europe, then throw it away and put in my SIM instead.

Did something change this year that you're saying it's not truly unlocked?

Seems the ones that had the import scan around 2:45am made it out and the ones that had the import scan around 3:30am or so got stuck in Louisville.

I'm in the same boat. Went with t mobile 256 jb 7 plus. Delivery for 18-31. Still says processors. Card not charged. No movement. Nothing. Apple chat said it won't come earlier.

What we can do here is just wait and hope for the best. :) I'll make sure to post here when my order ships or some movement detected like charging the card and status change.

I have the same thing now. But it still says the package is on time with a delivery date of 9/21/16.
Same here. Got the almighty "A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible. / Your delivery has been rescheduled for the next business day," message. But still scheduled for delivery today. Got an email earlier this morning that the shipment might be delayed. Stuck at the Import Scan in Louisville.

Both my phone (7+ 128 JB) and my wifes phone (7+ 32 Black) were set to be delivered next week (mine 9/26-10/3 and hers 9/27-9/29). They shipped out on 9/18 and sat in china for a few days. Yesterday they moved again, and left china through Korea, then to Anchorage, then to Louisville, and finally to Richmond VA. They are now out for delivery. Not sure why they sat so long in China, but the trip from China to the truck for delivery was quite quick (24 hours'ish). All is good in the world and will be taking off this afternoon to go set it up. Wanted to post this for folks with later dates to let them know that the phones are moving faster than Apple predicted.

Does anyone have any idea what flight the ones that left Hong Kong early this morning (after showing a Louisville pre-scan) are on or where it's headed to?

Mine was left behind in Incheon yesterday morning. still hasn't updated from yesterday's date for delivery, still unknown. Although it sounds like it's finally on its way to the US, sounds like maybe straight to Louisville. Apple was right with the 9/22 delivery date it seems.

So my question is that I have reserve a Sprint model of the iPhone 7 plus 256gb my carrier is AT&T because this phone is dual band from what I read I should just be able to pop my sim card in and be good... So will I have any issue with "APPLE" selling me the phone on my next upgrade?

That may be UPS scanning in a pallet that your phone was once on but isn't anymore; at least, that was the way the explained it to me when mine bounced from Orlando (my city) back to Louisville the day AFTER it was supposed to be delivered to me. Didn't make sense to me then and doesn't make sense to me now, but maybe that's what happened here.

No, AT&T and TMobile are using GSM | Verizon and Sprint use CDMA

Two different bands, based on the model phones; there are three models

You getting a sprint phone will not work on AT&T

Unless you get the model that supports both

Mine also showed up erroneously in Louisville coming from Seoul. But it ended up in Hong Kong, and there's a departure scan of 7:13pm local time, so I believe it's on the way to Anchorage now. What in the world!!!

Yes, it's on UPS Flight 63 from Hong Kong to Anchorage. Mine was left in Seoul yesterday as well. Here's the link to watch the flight.

From everything I've read the sprint and verizon phones are in fact Dual Band.,.. and the AT&T and Tmobile are single band.... do you have anything that can help confirm that there are three models to this band?

Just got off the phone with Apple I was informed that VERIZON and Sprint are all Dual Band and will work with AT&T as long as you put your sim in before booting the phone...

So they should be able to add it to my next program without any issues? Can anyone confirm that may have done this?
