I'm using UPS Connect CX software at work and it tells me more details than the website does. I'm in the Toronto area and according to my software it magically arrived at Pearson Airport this morning after the "Mechanical Delay in Korea" while the UPS website tells me nothing. If anyone wants to PM me their tracking number I can narrow it down a bit more for you.

Looks like we may know more in 6 hours or so... if UPS99 left SKorea headed towards AK and those of us with the 9:30 departure scans are on that flight, we should be in the US by 2pm PST. I doubt that gets phones in hand any earlier than Monday. I'm sure we'look all be watching.

This is our flight I believe for the lost souls that had theirs stuck in Korea for the past three days:

https://www.google.com/search?q=5X+...ome..69i57&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8

Or UPS63:

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS63

On my status update page the package went to Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong. Go to their web page:

http://www.hongkongairport.com/flightinfo/eng/cargo_dep.html

Scroll down a bit and you'll see flight 5X 063 is a UPS flight that departed at 19:12 local time, which is the departure time on my tracking page.

This whole time I have kind of had a hunch that UPS tracking is just royally screwed up. I really don't think it is accurate at all. There is no way that our phones actually went to Korea and then back to Hong Kong. That doesn't make any sense. I don't think the UPS scans are accurate and I doubt our phones were ever in Korea.

Hopefully I'm right cause that would make it much more likely that our phones are already in the states and Apples est delivery date on their site is accurate and we will still might get our phones today.

Just got off of a chat with Apple. Here is what they said:

"APPLE: I do see your iPhone 7 plus with delivery dates for Sept. 26. You must be super excited to receive your new iPhone 7 plus. Not to worry I have checked delivery dates on our end and they are certainly still Sept. 26 no delays have occur yet on our end. This happens every year when we have pre orders. UPS doesn’t keep up with the correct scans on their end and always list their status as China or Korea. But not to worry our items are currently delivering on time and this is a well known issue right now with the status on UPS site. If for some reason your phone were to not deliver on time please chat back in to have these looked into. We will certainly try our best to make sure the iPhone 7 plus is deliver on time for you.

ME: I had already received an email stating that my delivery would be on Thurs 22 is adding to my confusion. From my email: "Hi ---------, you have a package coming tomorrow. Scheduled Delivery Date: Thursday, 09/22/2016 Estimated Delivery Time: End Of Day"

APPLE: Yes this is incorrect.

ME: Just wondering why I received this?

APPLE: I apologize for the misinformation, UPS has been sending our customers emails that do not match with our delivery dates. I do apologize for that.

APPLE: We have already spoke to them regarding this, and it seems it was a mistake on their end. I do apologize for that being sent to you with incorrect delivery dates.

ME: Alright... I will ignore their email. Very confusing and frustrating however. So I should expect deliver on Monday?

APPLE: Correct, and yes I understand your frustration with all this, but I am super excited you are getting your item ahead of time. We were super pleased to see many items shipped out before October. But yes delivery dates are Sept. 26 which is this Monday. You should have your iPhone 7 plus in your hands by this date. :)

ME: A little odd that I ordered on pre-release date and yet my local Apple store is now fully stocked with my model and I am YET to receive mine. WIll probably not pre-order again.

APPLE: Oh I see, that is very odd. Its very rare to come across the iPhone 7 being in stock. I have not yet seen the black model iPhone 7 plus in stock at any store as they are first come first serve but that is great news to hear. Let me double check the stores near you for this specific model..... I do apologize for the inconvenience and the wait, I double checked the iPhone 7 plus black 32gb model and it doesn’t seem to be in stoke right now. Hopefully the store will receive shipment today. I do apologize on the delivery dates again. I hope you enjoy your new iPhone 7 plus when you receive it on Monday, you certainly deserve it. :)"

You're damn right I deserve it.

Just had a nice long chat with my UPS driver (yes, i have his number). No iPhone on his truck for me (i'm an 801er with a 7:12 Hong Kong departure). I just wanted to confirm that what some are reporting from Apple, that they will deliver today, is BS. He said the most likely reason for all the delays were customs related. Either Apple paperwork had something missing or that there were packages from other shippers (likely knock-off NFL merchandise) that were with the pallets. He said that is a huge issue right now for them. Anyway, he said it is not likely that I will get it tomorrow. The only UPS flight from Louisville to BWI is reserved for overnight packages. Barring upgraded service it won't be on that flight.

I have a good relationship with the driver that delivers to my house. We do a ton of online shopping with Amazon and he is just a really nice guy so i've gotten to know him over the years. I trust what he tells me isn't BS. Lucky me though, if it does go out for delivery Monday I can meet him when he starts his route and get it first thing in the morning and not have to wait until late afternoon when he normally comes by.

Cancelled my Apple online order yesterday and got lucky snabbing a ATT 128GB Matte Black 7+ to pickup at the Apple Store today. Going to pick it up in about an hour -- got the confirmation. Apple store updated their inventory at midnight local time, and they had a few in stock.

How did you go about doing this - was your pre-order on ATT Next? How did you reserve the new one for pickup?

Definitely not going to pre-order an iPhone again. You have much better luck either reserving for pickup within a week of release day.

I ordered the exact same model as you & it's for AT&T. I'm on the east coast, NYC. I did pre-order on the 9th but didn't get my order in until like 10-15min after 3AM. So I was shocked to see my phone being shipped so soon. But UPS ruined my excitement with their incompetency lol. Did you get your pre-order in before me? I've read ppl say that AT&T.Verizon phones have been shipping earlier than T-Mobile/Sprint. Don't know how true it is or why that would be the case if it is true
The pre-order opened at 12:10am pacific time. I got a confirmation email from Apple at 12:24am. So my order was confirmed 14 minutes after the pre-sale opened. I was totally shocked with the shipping date. Since 2008, I've always picked up my phone at the Apple Store on launch day. I'm AT&T also hope you're right about getting phones sooner. If I actually have to wait until October 31st I may keep my 6S+ & call it a day! This is way too frustrating.

Yeah, I am on ATT Next. I had a processing order already with Apple.com to be shipped by Apple to my home. It was supposed to be shipped Oct. 12-18th. A friend of mine told me the store normally gets new shipments and updates inventory around midnight. So I gambled, cancelled my order during the day yesterday and got lucky by going to the website and reserving one that showed in stock (7+ MB 128GB).

I reserved the new one online for store pickup staying with ATT Next ....

I actually live in Houston -- it's one of the locations in Houston. I don't want to specify which one due to security reasons and my pickup time being in the post above.

I definitely used this tool as well at midnight ... http://www.istocknow.com/live/

I picked up my pre-order an apple store when I got the 6plus. That was the first & only time I had done that. The experience was pretty smooth so I was disappointed that the jet black models weren't able to be shipped to the store to be picked up. But the other times I never had a problem with the shipping carriers as well as getting it as late as october. Always had the phone on launch day. I would've waited for next years if my gf iPhone wasn't about to crap out. I'm giving her my 6plus

I think the Note7 shipments this week got priority. Just my theory. That's why they had to get em over the HK since all the Alaska flights from Korea are full. Govt's and all are involved so it may be out of UPS/Apple's hands.
