UPS customer service is pretty worthless. All we've heard is that they won't be able to estimate delivery until it's in the States. Now it's sitting in AK, and all they can do is tell me to keep checking for updates. I have such a hard time believing that nobody in the UPS organization knows where their shipments are going to be and where. Isn't that the ENTIRE purpose of their company? /rant

that's the beauty of a time difference. If you fly from Tokyo or Seoul to LA, you actually go back in time by 2-3 hours.
I had a slightly different route than most of you. However, I'm on my 3rd delivery date including a now promised Saturday delivery. However, the phone's been sitting in Louisville since 1:00am today. The two UPS flights I would assume the phone to be on Newark and Philadelphia have already landed at those airports and still no departure from Louisville or arrival scans at a new hub.
Did you request that saturday delivery? or they gave you it?

I did not request Saturday delivery. It "upgraded" to that when I received the new delivery date email from UPS. On the email it says the service is UPS Worldwide Saver. After clicking the tracking link, it says it is UPS Worldwide Express Saver
Interesting enough, when I highlight over the "Service Upgraded" at the top of the tracking page it says "This service has been upgraded to UPS Ground". Um, how is Ground an upgrade from what we have?
All flights from UPS leaving ANC for the rest of the day are either going to Louisville or Ontario, I don't think any of us are getting them tonight, tomorrow seems reasonable if there are Saturday deliveries or you can hold it at the UPS Customer facility.

No. They automatically updated to Saturday delivery when I received the new delivery date email this morning. Interesting enough, when hovering over the "Service Upgraded" text on the tracking page it says "This service has been upgraded to UPS Ground".
