Mine just updated to this. Anyone else?

Anchorage, AK, United States 09/23/2016 4:03 P.M. The package will be forwarded to a UPS facility in the destination city.

It has to go through customs once it gets into the country. That's how it works, lol

I hope you are joking dude, that's unbelieveable

I wish I was... It really is unbelievable. UPS just admitted to me that the scans are not accurate. They're automated scans by the system if there's a delay to the shipment for some reason.

UPS rep telling me my phone isn't even in Alaska yet despite getting Arrival scan at 12:48 and departure scan at 3:30. Both from Anchorage.

I find it odd them saying that. Interesting that the scans are at the same time as an ACTUAL plane is ACTUALLY taking off towards phone GHOST destinations? Just weird is all I'm saying

I just got off the phone with UPS. All 801 group members, the alaska scan we're seeing is just an automated response from their computer system. Our phones are still physically in China. The expected delivery date is Monday

Then what the UPS rep is telling me now would seem correct. Yanci A. told me my phone is not in Alaska yet. Apparently there are different types of scans and this wasn't the physical scan which means it's not in Alaska. When I asked how could it be scanned for departure from Alaska, when it's not even in Alaska yet, Yanci A. told me "I don't know either."

Just got the UPS app notification and text stating my package is out for delivery today between 2-6pm PST. It's currently 5:26pm and my package still shows AK lol

Somewhere in my head
Hahaha. Well, that is something we haven't yet heard of.

So. While it showed that we were in Asia, they swore we were in the states. Now it shows we are in the states, and they swear we are in Asia.

Hahaha. OMG

Just spoke with someone at UPS apparently the package is still in Korea, and it hasn't left due to the weather. All the scans since then were false advanced scans. This is absolutely insane. Such ********

Folks I'm just as hopeful as anyone but to think they're going to be delivered tomorrow is just a bit of a stretch. Once they get to Louisville they've got to get to regional centers and then on to us. Thats not going to happen by tomorrow. Here in the Chicago area packages are typically on the truck by at least 6am. No way thats happening with the phone not even in Louisville.

Also, the only thing that has been consistent so far, funny as it sounds, is the tracking info. Apple doesnt know what they're talking about. UPS reps dont know what they're talking about. Package tracking, while not what i have wanted to see time-wise, seems to have been totally accurate. And, incidentally, the original date range for my delivery was 9/23 to 9/27. The phone will be here in that range.

Didn't you also try to say scans are accurate??

From experience. They have usually updated the scan BEFORE the plan takes off (as stated previously "departing" times differ from "actually departed" times by around 15minutes). This situation is...unusual...

Yanci A. told me that there are three different types of scans. First one is the 'physical scan' which is scanned physically at the location. The other two are 'derived' and 'logical' scan which Yanici A. had no idea what they mean. Yanci A. Told me both Arrival and Departure scans made in Anchorage were logical and that my package is in transit on the way to Alaska now. When I asked how can he/she be sure it's in transit given that all the scans turned out to be lies, I was told that I didn't have to believe it if I didn't want to.

This and the post being replied to sound like smoke being blown up your a** by UPS. The reps dont know what is going on. Apple doesn't know what is going on. I'm betting on the scans being accurate. They aren't going to have phantom scans stretched over hours. Makes no sense at all.

Must stink to be a UPS worker right now, having to make excuses and reason away all this madness from upper management...may god bless their souls

That means Yanci A. knows about as much as we do.
