I ordered paying full price and it went through Verizon and I'm being charged a $20 activation fee.

That is ridiculous. Robbery as AT&T or Verizon is having to do nothing. This is a little side deal the carriers have worked out with Apple. I will not even us their SIM card and will use my existing.

Shame on them.

I believe it has to be the same address as your wireless account. There's lots of rules related to phone fraud. So change your wireless address first.
Or, if the address is in same city, just have UPS hold it at a customer center or retail store and pick it up.

I did, but it doesn't seem to dynamically pull from that information, but only when I placed the order.

Silly enough I thought apple would pull from my primary shipping address being that I ordered it outright with no connection to AT&T other than being GSM.

You can purchase it up to 60 days after purchasing your device.

Yes you can call and they will run a Remote Diagnostics on your phone. Or you take it into an AppleStore for them to look at it.

You will probably have to call or go in-store. One year I upgraded on my husabnd's line (at the Apple Store) and when I got it, it deactivated his SIM so I had to get another sim for him at the AT&T store.

I spend a lot of time on airplanes, watching movies on my iPhone. So yes, it's common for me to charge and use the headphone jack simultaneously. So far the best solution I've found is to use an Apple Lightning dock, which comes with a charging port and headphone jack.

I spend 9 hours at a desk and I'm usually listing to a podcast or audio-book. I often have my iPhone charging while my headphones are plugged in. My oldest son doesn't want to upgrade because of the change. He's on his phone a lot (19 yrs old) so when he's near an outlet it's plugged in but he's typically always listening to music. Especially when in his dorm between classes.

I'm sorry for your experience. I do NOT know their criteria, but I know when I tried to move to/set up my account on ATT from another carrier about 4 years ago, I had to put down 1 year $150 deposits for each phone even though I had excellent credit. That was when they still had subsidized phones.
I was told that there's a lot of phone fraud and therefore extra measures, so maybe that applies to Citizen One purchases.
Also, sometimes the score isn't the primary factor. For instance, maybe the score is good but your credit balance is higher than the creditor likes to see. I've run into this in other situations, even though I pay my full credit monthly, so now I just pay down my card mid month even though I'm way under the limit.

Was able to get into the Apple Store App at 3:02am est, ordered myself a 7+ 256GB Jet Black through At&t Next. Received confirmation email at 3:04am est and have an estimated delivery date of Sept 26 - Oct 3. This was the first year I was able to get onto the store right after pre-orders went live. Guess we will see what happens!

Another thought... check your credit card. I see a Citizen's One charge and then the same charge reversed. I did get an approval. Make sure your credit card company didn't get in the way. I've had transactions flagged before and I've had to call my CC company to clear it or use a different card.

I am trying to go through the checkout process. I got the "your phone has been reserved" notification and that they would email me later to finish the checkout process. I'm trying to do that now and I keep getting The page youre looking for cant be found error halfway through the process. Anyone else?

I know that there are some Fort Worth people on here who like to pick up their iPhone at the UPS hub on Independence Parkway, like me. I've had my iPhone held at the UPS hub for pickup the last few years, but not this time: I went there yesterday to pickup a package, and it's a construction mess. They didn't have adequate signage to direct customers to the temporary pickup spot (the guard shack), and I think that it will be a mess next Friday (they told me that the construction is going to last well past next week). Also, with so much of the parking area torn up, it was difficult finding a parking space, and there was only one other customer in front of me.

I've had this exact problem and question. I had a charge go and then reversed. Does that mean it was approved?

Switch SIMs between your lines all you want. I did that for my 6s last year, no problems.

I got a black 7 Plus 128 GB for delivery next Friday... to my parent's house in southern VA, and I'm in DC area because of being on AT&T family plan. Really annoying. I wanted to do in-store pick-up like I did for my 6, but I didn't get that option and would love to be able to change it. Guessing it's too late for 9/16 pick-up, even if we're able to.

Did you pay the whole cost of the phone? Or did you do the iPhone Upgrade Plan through Apple?

Yeah, I was right there as soon as the Apple Store was up (like 10 minutes late?) and my 128g black 7+ is saying Oct 4-10. Kinda bummed about the date.
But the I see an ATt order way after mine is getting his 9/23

See this was the same scenario as me. 7+ 256 Jet Black ATT Next thru the Apple store app.... But I was able to get on the app at 3:08am eastern time and got my processing confirmation email at 3:11am and got the same delivery dates 9/26- 10/3
