Done what I've always done.
Walked into EE on Friday afternoon.
Per ordered a 128gb matte black 7+
Manage to get the upfront cost down to £30. Got max deal so get BT sport for 2 years, 6 months Apple Music and can Change in 12 months.
Booked in for 8pm on Friday night (due to work)

Had to pay £20 upfront, so only £10 to pay when I get there

They did it for you too then! Booking you in for collection I mean. They seem super confident that they will get launch day stock.

I'm guessing it's the same as past years and they know what stock they are going to get.

Managed to get a matte black 7+ on pre-order but I missed the option to upgrade every 12 months! Darn it, for an extra £5 a month :(

Myne was £62 a month 40gb data free Apple Music and £49.99 for the 128gb jet black plus

Does this plan allow you to upgrade and take out new contract next year? Are you an existing customer upgrading?

I've thought about the EE contract but £149 upfront cost is quite abit but imagine next year upgrading it would be lower

I have now realised that I might have picked a plan that doesn't allow upgrading next year. It looks like I should have paid £99 upfront instead of £49 for that tariff - aargh! Might phone them tomorrow and see what they can offer via the. If I can't upgrade next year I cancel and just wait till my Apple order comes through.

You have 14 days to change your mind - I would contact to see if can change tariff that is what I cam going to do.

Yes I can exchange the phone into an ee shop for a new one in 12 months and yes I am an existing customer upgrading

Just got a further 2 emails off EE confirming order and tariff details and one about delivery but still not saying date of delivery
I also now have a pending payment on my bank for the full upfront cost of the phone

Looking at those conditions you be better off not trading the device in and flogging it and pay the £310. A 12 month old plus is gonna be worth more than the EE penalty
That's exactly my plan, especially since you can unlock after 6 months!

I said in previous post £62

Call them up and haggle don't pay the prices on the ee site

Sorry so you did. Was half asleep when I posted.

Heads up for anyone taking on the Annual Upgrade Max Plan with EE:

Very interesting.
Am getting £425 on a trade in for a 128gb 6s this year. Is it were a 6s+ I would have got £473. Potentially looking at £150+'difference that could pay the next upfront upgrade fee......

I got one of those emails. The Welcome to EE one. I got the confirmation order when I ordered it Friday

I upgraded online with EE on Friday (iPhone 7 Plus, 128gb Jet Black) at the time of the order the website said dispatch in 7 days.

I had a confirmation email through a few minutes later, however it didn't have a delivery date. I phoned EE this morning to check when I would receive it, to be told that there was a problem with the order and it hadn't been processed! So now even tho the original time was 7 days, i'm now looking at 21 days or longer..

Not sure I want to call to find out about mine.

But surely, you'd still have the last 12 months of the contract left to pay out, and not able to do the upgrade? Or do they let you pay that, still upgrade and get a new phone?

Reading the conditions you hand phone back or pay the penalty and sign up for a further 2 years on a tariff same value or higher per month

Had to call EE this morning to confirm some details on my order. New to them as a company and placed my order yesterday afternoon late on.

iPhone 7 Plus in black 32gb. Had to call to confirm some credit stuff due to amount of the device etc. All good.

The phone is showing as delivered within 7 days so maybe they have stock for launch day on this model? We'll see. I've had an email confirming my order and had one saying it's on its way... unsure haha.

On the hype train til Friday then to see if it turns up!
