I agree - has prob been like this for a while since they were the first to offer 4G too (if I recall correctly). One of the reasons I switched from O2 to EE a few years back. I had been on O2 since first iPhone when O2 had iPhone exclusivity. From what I read around EE do seem to have the best and fastest coverage.

I can only speak for central London but the speeds I'm getting are 120MB/s upwards. So yes, very fast!

Just spoke to an EE rep: all preorders made on Friday last week are 99% guaranteed to be delivered on launch day (Friday).
[doublepost=1473691902][/doublepost]I am thinking of buying an AW Series 2- who would you guys buy from? John Lewis or Currys?

Thanks in advance !

Currys will give you 1 year warranty you might as well go directly with Apple.
John Lewis will give you 2 years warranty

you know you can get it from ee in interest free credit

I'll probably be buying series 1 today to collect from Apple. Saving £100 and hopefully will get the next version next year.

Email received and money taken after I had to call them yesterday, change of address in the last 3 months meant I had to go through an identity check for my upgrade. Lady said on the phone I should still receive it on Launch Day, wait and see....

I'm so glad I read this post. I pre-ordered online last Friday. Called EE today to check status and the order was on hold. Moved house in July and their system hadn't updated my account so had to go through identity check. I wouldn't have called them if I hadn't seen this. Order now back on track. Thank you!

I was also thinking of buying the AW Series 2 from Apple but the delivery times on their website are ridiculous . . .

Glad I could help you :).

Now, I don't know if this'll work but it's worth making you guys aware. The DPD app is pretty decent, if you register with the account email you used for your order with EE and your phone number the DPD system normally pre-populates the deliveries you have had with that email address and any new ones are automatically picked up, it might come in handy for Friday as if we are lucky EE will pass the emails to DPD and it should show up in the delivery account.

+1 the DPD app! It's great! It lets you know down to a 15 minute period when a parcel will get delivered and show you where the drive is on a map.

What I was meaning is that with Apple you can wear the watch for 14 days and still return - am pretty sure with JL once watch worn it can only be returned if faulty.

yup ^ that. By law they have to accept returns

No they don't. Not in every case. It depends on number of factors including what has been purchased and whether bought in store or online. Distance selling regulations give additional protection since you cannot examine the goods until you receive but if you buy something in a shop and simply change your mind you have no legal right for a refund. In reality most retailers allow refunds and exchanges as good for business and if they display their returns policy in store it becomes contractual.

Consumer rights of return only apply where the goods are faulty or not fit for purpose.

Just pulled the trigger on black 7 plus on £65 deal

I need to ring them though, guessing it won't go through without me speaking to them?

Will ring tomorrow as in Spain now

Is it two weeks like it says on website?

I wonder if EE will let me change my plan to be one of the 12 month ones? What do you think?
I went for the slightly lower tariff on a Plus 32gb, but wouldn't mind paying the extra tenner to upgrade after 12 months.

They sure will let you do it, just get in touch with the digital sales department. I changed my tariff to the 12 month upgrade and still kept the same phone which meant my delivery time was still the same. :)

Brilliant, thanks!
Like the idea of the 12 month upgrade.
With EE, do you need to give the phone back to them or is it yours to keep and sell etc?
