EE have taken the £150 deposit from my credit card today. Did they take anyone else, or were they all taken at the time of ordering?
Had to call EE this morning to confirm some details on my order. New to them as a company and placed my order yesterday afternoon late on.
iPhone 7 Plus in black 32gb. Had to call to confirm some credit stuff due to amount of the device etc. All good.
The phone is showing as delivered within 7 days so maybe they have stock for launch day on this model? We'll see. I've had an email confirming my order and had one saying it's on its way... unsure haha.
On the hype train til Friday then to see if it turns up!

Did anyone actually get a decent upgrade offer from EE? I couldn't and had to go through 3rd party instead to get a new EE contract because it worked out cheaper. I could get the same monthly payment but they wanted more upfront payment for the phone
I am a new EE customer ordered about 0815 Friday morning and it only showed a hold for upfront cost yesterday. Not sure what the extra checks are wasn't mentioned to me or when I phoned up checking it was all sorted and when do I give them the PAC code off VodafoneNo upfront cost taken for mine just yet. Only ordered Saturday late on though, and then had to do additional checks yesterday due to being a new customer to EE.
She said the order was all done, and had email confirmation, but no money taken yet. Expected it to have gone today on my online banking, but nothing.
The model I ordered is showing as dispatched within 7 days, so it may be slightly delayed and not here on Friday.
I'm not hopeful, but I'm not too fussed as I can hang on a bit.
I think I got a very good deal from EE (ordered on Friday evening);
I only started my current contract less than 6 months ago. Technically, I was not even eligible for an early upgrade as I have only been a client for 5 months. I was told I can upgrade early by paying a 720 pound charge.
I did a couple more calls and finally spoke to the retentions team. I was not only allowed to upgrade over the phone but also did not have to pay any early upgrade fees. On top of that I am keeping my Galaxy S7 Edge!
65.99/month; 100 upfront that goes toward my future contract payments; no delivery charge 4GEE Max Plan; 12m early upgrade, BT Sport 24m, Apple Music 6m
-->selling my Galaxy S7E for 400-450
What do you think? Should I push some more or is this as good as it gets![]()

I wonder why some cards have been charged and others have not? Strange.
Mine hasn't, but I'm just guessing it may be down to my later order, although the model I am getting is still showing as dispatched within 7 days (the rest are all over that time).
Maybe it's an error on the website as it seems odd that model is still available but the others are not.
I'd say you just got your tariff swapped over to the 4GEEMAX plan. I got the new 7+ 128gb for £65.99 a month on the same tariff. It's good that they let you do that though I was told that you have up to three months to change your plan. Plus the added benifit of keeping the phone (sell that for profit) and yeah it's a decent deal.
Check your email. I hadn't been charged either and I got an email asking to call to confirm info (used call to negotiate better deal - see above).
I called 0800 079 0531 and had to quote to IKIN order number in my acknowledgement email.
I spoke with EE just now and he said that online orders are backlogged for payment processing but that won't affect the delivery so it'll be charged between now and Friday.
He asked what I ordered (iPhone 7+ jet black 128GB) and he literally went "Oh yeah no worries we have a lot of those you'll get it launch day". Given he's the third person who I've spoken to who seems genuinely calm about the stock levels I feel confident. It didn't feel like something he was just told to say.
You will find that the relationship between Apple and EE right now is very good due to the Apple Music/Beats push, stock for EE is probably higher than other carriers in the UK due to this partnership.
