EE have taken the £150 deposit from my credit card today. Did they take anyone else, or were they all taken at the time of ordering?

Had to call EE this morning to confirm some details on my order. New to them as a company and placed my order yesterday afternoon late on.

iPhone 7 Plus in black 32gb. Had to call to confirm some credit stuff due to amount of the device etc. All good.

The phone is showing as delivered within 7 days so maybe they have stock for launch day on this model? We'll see. I've had an email confirming my order and had one saying it's on its way... unsure haha.

On the hype train til Friday then to see if it turns up!

I had to call them this morning to do the same, got through after an hour of waiting haha, expected that though. I ordered the 128gb black 7+ and when I ordered it said the "within 7 days" text so my fingers are crossed!

Ordered before 8:15 and money taken instantly. No conf email yet but spoke to customer services and they confirmed it was on system. Will chase email again tomorrow.

Still seem pretty sure about friday delivery when i spoke to them.

Email received and money taken after I had to call them yesterday, change of address in the last 3 months meant I had to go through an identity check for my upgrade. Lady said on the phone I should still receive it on Launch Day, wait and see....

Did anyone actually get a decent upgrade offer from EE? I couldn't and had to go through 3rd party instead to get a new EE contract because it worked out cheaper. I could get the same monthly payment but they wanted more upfront payment for the phone

Yes I got iPhone 7 plus 256gb jet black 20gb data unlimited calls and text £47pm £150 upfront

No upfront cost taken for mine just yet. Only ordered Saturday late on though, and then had to do additional checks yesterday due to being a new customer to EE.

She said the order was all done, and had email confirmation, but no money taken yet. Expected it to have gone today on my online banking, but nothing.
The model I ordered is showing as dispatched within 7 days, so it may be slightly delayed and not here on Friday.

I'm not hopeful, but I'm not too fussed as I can hang on a bit.

I am a new EE customer ordered about 0815 Friday morning and it only showed a hold for upfront cost yesterday. Not sure what the extra checks are wasn't mentioned to me or when I phoned up checking it was all sorted and when do I give them the PAC code off Vodafone

I think I got a very good deal from EE (ordered on Friday evening);

I only started my current contract less than 6 months ago. Technically, I was not even eligible for an early upgrade as I have only been a client for 5 months. I was told I can upgrade early by paying a 720 pound charge.

I did a couple more calls and finally spoke to the retentions team. I was not only allowed to upgrade over the phone but also did not have to pay any early upgrade fees. On top of that I am keeping my Galaxy S7 Edge!

65.99/month; 100 upfront that goes toward my future contract payments; no delivery charge 4GEE Max Plan; 12m early upgrade, BT Sport 24m, Apple Music 6m
-->selling my Galaxy S7E for 400-450

What do you think? Should I push some more or is this as good as it gets:p

They took the one off charge from my card straight away. Called them on Friday afternoon

I'd say you just got your tariff swapped over to the 4GEEMAX plan. I got the new 7+ 128gb for £65.99 a month on the same tariff. It's good that they let you do that though I was told that you have up to three months to change your plan. Plus the added benifit of keeping the phone (sell that for profit) and yeah it's a decent deal.

I wonder why some cards have been charged and others have not? Strange.
Mine hasn't, but I'm just guessing it may be down to my later order, although the model I am getting is still showing as dispatched within 7 days (the rest are all over that time).
Maybe it's an error on the website as it seems odd that model is still available but the others are not.

Yes I think so!

I had an email this morning to phone and confirm details for an online upgrade order I placed on Friday. However I realised that the tariff i picked on Friday didn't allow me to upgrade after 12 months so said I want to change tariff and negotiate a better deal! They put me through to upgrades and I said I knew someone who had been offered £30 for phone and £62 per month but also that I had a phone on order direct from Apple so looking for a decent deal.

Since they said I have been with them a while the deal they offered on the 7+ 128gb jet black was £65.99 per month $GEE Max Plan with 25gb data, Apple Music etc and option to upgrade in 12 months. Best part - no upfront cost on the phone just £6.98 delivery :) saving £99 on normal upgrade cost (£149 for new customers). A free Jet Black 7+ 128gb :D. I was quoted 21 days for delivery (which is more than the 14 days quoted online on Friday but it was placed as a new order so I may have fallen a little back in the queue though he said he hadn't sold many of the JB 7+ 128gb).

For those not ordering Jet Black the advisor did say that they were expecting to fulfil a bit quicker and that most models were getting delivered on launch day (except the jet black!).

I already subscribe to Apple Music so the trial may not work with my existing ID (which I also currently have on Unidays rate of £4.99 per month anyway).

I have rebooked my trade in with envirofone as rate still the same as a week ago so hopefully wont be too long using hubbies old 5c  as a temporary phone.

Check your email. I hadn't been charged either and I got an email asking to call to confirm info (used call to negotiate better deal - see above).
I called 0800 079 0531 and had to quote to IKIN order number in my acknowledgement email.

It is a 4GEEMAX plan, yes. It is weird how they let me upgrade after 5 months with EE with no charge whatsoever- I went to Carphone Warehouse to see what other deals they may have. They guy advised me to not call them again as they may realise they scored an own-goal with this one. He thought someone from retentions must be getting fired over this :D:D

I called this morning and was told that if orders were made on day 1 of preorders, they most likely will arrive on launch day! As I ordered mine at about 8:20, I was told mine would most definitely arrive on launch day! I'm so excited. First time ever for me to get an iPhone on launch day!!

Just spoke to CS they are still saying I am down to have it delivered round about the 16th but can't give an actual date at this time

Mine was ordered at 0810 last Friday 128GB 7+ JB

Yeah I had to call to confirm some info too, did that yesterday morning. She didn't mention the upfront cost, despite their bring one on the tariff that I chose.
Ah well, in no rush really, if it happens and it arrives then so be it. If it doesn't, I'll give them a call and find out the deets!

I spoke with EE just now and he said that online orders are backlogged for payment processing but that won't affect the delivery so it'll be charged between now and Friday.

He asked what I ordered (iPhone 7+ jet black 128GB) and he literally went "Oh yeah no worries we have a lot of those you'll get it launch day". Given he's the third person who I've spoken to who seems genuinely calm about the stock levels I feel confident. It didn't feel like something he was just told to say.

I like the sound of that! Said to me within 21 days for same model and not for launch day but as I have booked a holiday from work on Friday that would be typical!!

You will find that the relationship between Apple and EE right now is very good due to the Apple Music/Beats push, stock for EE is probably higher than other carriers in the UK due to this partnership.

I agree - has prob been like this for a while since they were the first to offer 4G too (if I recall correctly). One of the reasons I switched from O2 to EE a few years back. I had been on O2 since first iPhone when O2 had iPhone exclusivity. From what I read around EE do seem to have the best and fastest coverage.
