Wonder whether stock will come in for walk in's or whether they will fulfill pre-orders first?

Got a feeling it'll be the former, as they probably want to have some stock in stores for people to take new connections out with etc.

So annoying that there are 6's available today and no Plus's anywhere.
Otherwise I'd be trawling town to pick one up asap.

Hope that goes well for you but tbh I'll be annoyed if it does as I ordered same config on launch day and am being told 28 days from today.
Just seems odd to me people like yourself who ordered straight away has the same wait as myself who ordered two days ago.

That text, like last nights was almost definitely a canned message. That being said, despite being told mine would definitely arrive today, it still hasn't. I am going to make an official complaint about this.

I spoke to one of EE's drones, who very politely disagreed with my statement that EE need to finally enter the 21st century by implementing an online order tracking system (and get the added bonus of having to deal with CS less and more with facts). He said they don't need one as this only happens in September due to Apple launching new products.

He also had the audacity to claim they do not consider it a sound investment and that they have barely received any complaints from current customers. He also added that he does not see why other major networks invested in a tracking system..... IDIOTS

So I popped into my local store as it's 2 minutes from work and they looked deflated and upset. Definitely not a good day for them. It was completely dead.

new one for you,

tried talking to chat regarding the on going saga got told, to ignore all previous information and no phones had been sent out. when i said a friend had received theirs they then asked me for that person mobile number to check their account to see if its been sent..... when i pulled them up on data protection, they then said oh i know i shouldn't have asked.

have spoke to customer services and highlighted what is a potential breach of customers data protection cat

Complained to the CEO regarding this shambles and just got a quick reply
And this is just funny. Basically, a canned response from his secretary I reckon.

Received a text from EE saying delivery will be made on the 23rd as 'I requested' (Next Friday for JB+ 128GB).

Umm I didn't make any request you fudge sticks. :mad:o_O

Then received a text saying it should be here within 28 days...

Being an EE/T Mobile/One2One Customer for 16 years (my mum) and seeing multiple iPhone launches since 2008 this has to be the most botched up by EE. Even worse than when the 2G went on sale in the U.K. and even the Nokia N95.

Even though Apple is likely to blame based on stock issues, EE overestimated its own stock level and haven't be very honest and straightforward to their customers... :(

Yeah EE have messed up by their lack of honesty, but as I said in a previous post, if you saw the faces of the employees in store it was pretty bad. They just looked like they wanted to go home and were extremely surprised when I wasn't a c**t to them about it. Saw two DPD deliveries of the phone whilst I was their and had this vein hope that they just forgot to text me ahead of time, but nope :(
[doublepost=1474030299][/doublepost]They also wanted to get me to take an iPhone 7 because they had "a fair amount" of them... but no pluses at all.

I get you, sadly it's the poor hardworking staff that have to deal with angry customers, when it actuality the fault lies much higher up with the board and executives. :(:(

They'd basically fed false information to the staff who simply did their job and passed it on to us. Very disappointed in EE, they said they want to make it up to us for being a long term customer, I simply said no thank you, just do a better job next time :);)

CPW had stock of the gold Plus 128gb on their site for delivery tomorrow.
I had it in my basket mulling it over and by time I decided it went. This was only a hour ago, so they probably had some stock all morning and I only realised too late...

I may take a new contract out on a normal 7 and then sell it when the Plus models are readily available and just put the extra towards one of them. Stick the contract sim in the Plus and go from there. I have nearly £300 in John Lewis vouchers so putting funds towards it won't be an issue.

Silly, or wait for EE?

I know I can get a better contract then my current order which is why I'm contemplating...

Suddenly you can get a gold iPhone in one day... Yeah, right.

I have followed this thread with a sort of morbid interest for the last few days....and resigned myself to a long wait. Alas, I got DPD confirmation that my parcel is due for delivery tomorrow, though the actual parcel has been received yet. Should I get my hopes up? (I ordered just before lunchtime on Friday....)

Why not, we have no idea what the reality is – even from this thread, there's no obvious pattern.

I have had no luck adding apple watch 2 to plan take my advice don't bother no one from ee seems to know what it is li rang 8 times trying to get it added in store and over phone.
