If they are all one one order then your gut feeling may be right. According to the rep I spoke to, 1 backordered phone can hold up the entire order because technically the order is not complete so it can't be shipped.

I just did it all at a local store... Ordered new iPhone 7 and began the process to trade in my old iPhone 5 s. Once I receive the new phone, I mail back the iPhone 5
Yeah, my trade in on my iPhone 6s Plus has started. I just have to print up mh shipping label & send it off. I may try turning it in at the store, though.
And of course now my T-Mobile app is giving me the spinning circle when I try to check my phone status.

I've been checking via browser since I ordered my iPhone. I also check to see if the money has been charged from my account. Today was the first day I checked with the app. It originally showed my ship dates had been changed but still the same dates. & Now it's the spinning circle. I only stated that because I'm hopeful it means there may be a change. But I don't think there is as others have had the same issue.
4 days of the same, all around me others getting charged same time i ordered my device but tmobiles making every excuse but the truth. is that thier clueless when stock is available. had i known this i would have crawled to the store.

It seems that the biggest unknown is the plus phones. Of course. As much as I hate not knowing, we will get them. Eventually. Lol.
The app is still working. It's just spinning circle when I check my iPhone status. Ah well. Lol.
