SAME. i looked at my UPS My Choice and saw shipment from apple delivering on friday. was super excited and then remembered that i had ordered an apple watch from apple and phone from tmo. womp womp. i guess a new watch is still kinda exciting.
anyways, chiming in with my deets:

definitely not. back ordered means until they get more phones in the inventory your phone wont ship.

calm down man. It's entirely possible for T-Mobile to get shipments up until Thursday night and be routed out on Friday. You do know it's only Tuesday, right?

You wont see any movement until wednesday nite goin into thursday..

Wonder if T Mobile will put out a brief statement to those of us experience the wait (if we do) even though we submitted orders as early as 2 minutes after they launched.

Okay, I need opinions. So it looks like I'm probably not getting my jet black iPhone 7 on release day. So I've decided to stay outside of a store a few hours until the open on friday morning. Would you guys think I have better luck at an Apple Store, or a Tmobile Store?
I doubt it. There's not much they can do and they've given us their deadline for our order.
I would be suprised if our 9/19 window phones don't come in time for launch.
Just got off the phone with t-mobile and i was told that every single iPhone 7 plus is on back order. My shipping date is 9/27 to 10/10 and i was told that there is no way i would get my phone this Friday( just what i wanted to hear)
I have the same message and i keep checking every few minutes haha. Well tomorrow is Wednesday so hopefully tomorrow itll have more info
Depends on your area and the store traffic. This is my first year getting a phone from a tmobile store so I don't know how the traffics is yet. But I will say. Apple will definitely have more phone then any other place and you will probably end up with a phone on launch day. But when the 6 plus first dropped a couple years ago. Me and a buddy literally sat at the Apple Store from 5:30am-2:30pm. That's how ridiculous the line was and systems was down and we didn't pre order of course. So we had to wait behind those who did. So if you have the time I would say the Apple Store. If not I would check your local tmobile.
Today on the way home i stopped off at my local T-Mobile store. He showed me the inventory list for Friday launch. He is only getting iPhone 7 QTY: 7 per color per size.
Inventory list shows QTY 3 each of each color for the iPhone 7+ no jett black models will be in his store.
I asked if i could take a picture but he said no since his name and stuff was on it.
