Carrier iPhone 7/7+ T-Mobile Pre-Order Thread

I've been a fly on the wall following this thread since its inception, and I too have gotten to the point of constantly checking this thread, looking at my mobile banking and UPS every chance I get. I should know better, so far this is very similar to what happened last year, and about this time last year everyone began to start getting there tracking info/getting charged for there phones, I believe with the amount of flights we've seen we all have a good chance of being updated by tonight. but thats just my two cents, either way let the speculation continue!

iPhone 7+ 128gb Jet Black Estimated ship date 10/25 - 11/11

Called in at 3:00 (EST), but because of JOD being on the Fritz when i tried ordering, I was going to get a call back when the system was functioning again, got a call at 4:30 and they thought it was working, but at the last second it stopped. got a call again around 6:30 and was able to order my phone. got my email almost instantly signed them and later on that morning i received my text messages. funny thing is though on my agreement confirmation email it shows my order was placed at 3:30 AM even though it was really processed at 6:30 hopefully I get charged today and get my phone friday!

Which storage size did you get? Did you do the trade in? What does your expected ship date say?

I got the 32gb. I used JOD and my expected ship date is the 27-10th

Pretty much the only reason I got the Plus lol. I switched from my 6s Plus to a regular 6s because I was getting tired of the large phone. But the camera seems amazing, so I think I can deal with it this time around lol. We'll see...

Just got my tracking # for my iPhone 7+ 32g RG!! I was so worried I wouldn't get it Friday! I'm so excited now, although it's being shipped to my folks so I have to go there after work on Friday! Haha 2 DAYS PEOPLE!!

My iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Gold was charged yesterday and shipped that day as well. I got the tracking number from UPS My Choice. It says it will be delivered on the 20th, and the service used was UPS Ground...lol

So far, I like most of iOS 10, haven't played with it much since I updated right before I went to bed last night. But, I do not like the Music app at all and am reconsidering my Apple Music subscription because of it if I'm not going to use the app. And because of the way that I use my phone, I changed the lock setting so that once the phone is awake (from the raise to wake feature) all I have to do is put my finger on the home button and touch ID automatically unlocks it (without having to press the home button first). It may seem trivial but it was bugging me.

you know there is a setting to have it unlock with your fingerprint the same way IOS9 did right? that way your not clicking the home button more than once to unlock the phone, they changed it because the 6s models with 2nd gen touch ID were blowing past the lock screen and this just limits it so you have to click the home button again, say for if your just checking the time

Settings > General > Accessibility > Home Button (its in the 4th section at the bottom) > and then rest finger to open

this way you can unlock it with only a single press to wake up the screen

Just went to check my order status with a rep: "As of right now. all of our orders for the new iPhone 7 were still on backorder since technically the device is not available up until it's release date which is this coming 16th and that will be time that we will start shipping all of the preorder we have received for the past days."

"For now, we will not be able to provide you on when that will be as we are still waiting for Apple to send us the stocks of the new iPhone 7's."

For those who have been charged, was the pending charge on your card removed before the actual charge went thru? My pending charge just disappeared from my Amex statement I know it is a long shot based on my ship dates but I can dream cant I?

I ordered a 7+ 32 GB Black on 9/9 at 3 PM and was given an estimate of 10/11-10/24

I never had a pending charge to my account, that might be because I use this card regularly with T-Mobile though.

Hello! I love reading this forum and seeing so many people excited for these phones as I am! I have ordered a matte black 7 Plus in 128 storage. My delivery window is 9/26 - 10/10 even though I preordered at 3 AM on the 8th. My order still shows processing and no charges on my card and no delivery information on UPS. I just chatted with T-Mobile and they told me that they are having very big supply issues with the 7+ and they don't foresee my order being here for launch day, in fact they said that my order may be delayed even further than my current delivery window. They said they are doing their best to get more stock available but as of now that's where they sit. :(

Take it for what its worth but I wanted to pass along the information. I think I am going to try and hit the loan T-Mobile stores on Friday morning and see if I luck out and can grab one if available, otherwise I will be waiting like most other of the plus crowd on this forum. Good luck to all of you and I hope you enjoy your awesome new phones when you get them finally!

i dont get why you guys still bother contacting low sales rep and customer support, i think we know more than they do. They are just employees dude, they are not goddess or steve jobs. **** I think even the CEO of apple doesnt know when pre orders and shipments will take to arrive.

The only thing that doesn't make sense about this is that other people have had iPhone 7 Pluses marked as shipped (or at least charged for them). So it can't just be a general 7 Plus thing.

Agreed, maybe its because the black is the most popular color option. I hope it's not true and its just low level customer service BS...I am trying to stay positive!
