So I created an account here just to come on this forum haha. I ordered the 128GB Black iPhone 7 Plus. I ordered first thing in the morning at the T-Mobile store and the rep told me the ship date would be the 16th. He said that's what the computer said. But now my app says the 27th to the 10th of October. I did the trade in so I also have UPS next day shipping and am hoping that maybe tomorrow we will see activity because why would they ship out something days ahead for next day deliveries? I'm hoping tomorrow that us next day people will see some action at least. Here's hoping.

I'm no longer stressing it. Mine will be here Friday. Now question I have, for those that have preordered iPhones before, how difficult is it to set up on your own? Everything I've done, I've gone through the store. (Switching my line to my new phone I mean.)

Something a few people have been missing is that nearly all iPhones are shipped a few days in advance via next day delivery. UPS and FedEx are then instructed to hold these phones until release day. You should not be surprised to see them at your local UPS facility days in advance, but they will not give the phone to you until 9/16.

One thing that is pissing me off though is I am seeing people who ordered the Rose Gold Plus 128 AFTER the time I ordered one... getting shipping notices... and I have not. I wonder if the 2 black Pluses (one Matte and one Jet) is holding up my Rose Gold order? All three have different order numbers... so I would think they would all ship in different packages with different tracking numbers...

You just back up your currently phone to iCloud (or computer), then on the new iPhone , enter your Apple ID and then it will ask you if you want to restore from a backup. You can do that or you can set it up as a new phone

It's super easy. You just take the sim card out of your phone with the little adapter thing, put it into your new phone to get the service moved. It's more of a pain to get the apps and messages back. For that you just have to do an icloud backup on your old phone and a restore on the new one.

It's super easy. Just backup your current phone right before and when you turn on the new one it walks you through the setup process. Just set it up from your backup in iCloud.

Well I'm still hoping for the best. There is still time. I'm hoping at least that it will come by Monday. I hate ordering through a carrier, ordering through apple is better, but I couldn't pass up the trade in deal they had. I got the iPhone 7 plus for $11 with my trade in haha.

Assuming you have an iPhone now, just do a back up of your current phone. In iCloud settings just make sure you have thing things you want backed up selected. After that just pop your sim card into new phone and when you turn on new iPhone it will have option to restore from iCloud backup.

I've done the cloud thing before & I utilize that a lot. I was meaning more towards the service & thanks! Wasn't sure about the SIM card thing but if it's that simple, then no worries for me!

Super easy. Backup your current phone with iTunes or iCloud. Turn off find my iPhone. Take SIM card out of old phone, throw it in the new phone. Follow the onscreen prompts and it will ask to restore from backup or setup new. Restore from backup. Wait patiently even though you'll REALLY want to play with your new phone. That's it. Wipe your old phone and enjoy your new 7 or 7+! :D

Same but what you can do is get the first one you ordered activate it then when you get your jump order sim swap so you can get the credit then send the first iphone 7 back because you will still be in your 14 day window for returns..
I only have one iPhone order because I didn't want to risk getting it cancelled. I'm thinking I'm just going to go to T-Mobile when I have my phone and try to figure out something with them.

Ok so I'm not alone! Good looks :).

Hopefully they have something lined up since it's their reps that give out wrong info.

For some reason, it also feels like they won't ship til like October or something. Have a weird feeling since I keep refreshing my app to see if I have a cc charge or update through T-Mobile.

I've had a tracking number for a few days now, but it's been saying that the shipment is in transit to UPS. That's.... cool right?

has anyone had a 32GB Silver 7 Plus ship out? I ordered one within about 20 min of pre-orders, I was the guys first order of the night. I got a ship-date of 9/19. I've seen people mentioning Rose Gold and Gold Pluses, but none that are like mine.

I just got this response from the Exec Team Rep that helped me out. Again, take it for what it is, but at least wanted to provide for those still wondering why things may not have moved yet, especially if you went through them:

Let me try to explain the process and this should make more sense. Your order status will always show the same as the anticipated delivery date based on when the order was placed until it actually ships. This is because our priority process is us sending a batch of orders we are having prioritized each day to the warehouse and then when inventory comes in they pull those ahead of the others being fulfilled to be prioritized so this does not change the status in the system. I absolutely had your prioritized and they will be pulled ahead of when we actually ordered them and when they do ship you will receive notification they have, that is the first time anything will appear different for you. I hope this gives you peace of mind.
