This will be the first time I preorder a phone with Tmobile online. Do they ship the phone to you on release day or would I have to wait 5-7 days (their standard shipping time)?

Will users be able to get new iPhone 7 Plus online during Pre-Order by signing up to JUMP? I'm currently using a fully paid off IP6 that will stay with me but just wanted to pre-order a new 128GB 7 Plus using JUMP. Don't really want to buy it outright during Pre-Order if I can avoid it.

I'm on Jump On Demand also. I'm wondering if I will be able to preorder online and have it shipped to my door by launch day.

If it doesn't work I'm just preordering through Apple and cancelling Jump.

Are you saying midnight Charleston time or Pacfic time? Was planning on waking up for a 3:00AM ordering time.
Hmmm... all she said was midnight, I assumed, possibly foolishly, that she meant my timezone. I will be camping by the computer until I manage to get a preorder to go through no matter how long it takes.

Going to order the iPhone 7plus jet black (128) definitely going to call in like I've done previously.

How do you call in? Just regular 611? What were the hold times like?
Regular 611, and for the 6 I waited around an hour to get through to someone. The 6s went way faster but I'm assuming the demand wasn't as high for space gray.

Checking in. Another year another round of frustrating back and forth with T-Mobile over the phone at 3am! Can't wait!

Going for a Jet Black 7 Plus 128GB

I talked to a t-mobile rep this afternoon and she told me to be ready to preorder online at midnight tomorrow and I have JoD on 5 of my 6 lines. We walked through the process twice just so I knew exactly what to expect. She was very helpful... I just hope she was correct.

Jump on demand you can do online?

How so and want to share this "process" she walked you through?

Thanks

The rep I spoke to said the preorders would go live on the website at midnight tomorrow and that I could upgrade all six phones that were JoD to iPhone 7's and they would be shipped to my house and I could take the "old" iPhones to the store after the new ones arrived. I asked twice about each stage of the process; ordering, receiving and trading-in

Hello,

I currently have the original jump on demand on my plan. I don't carry any EIP balance and whenever I attempt to upgrade it says I need to visit a store or call.

Figure this info would be useful to someone.

Also I plan on getting the 128 in black. I'm actually going to order directly from Apple, I can't deal with T-mobile and their pre-order again this year.

I got mine on launch day last year.

I hope this is true. Last year you could talk to three different reps and ask the same question and get six different answers. Lol. Online sure would be easier though.

i also called and the rep said since i'm on JOD, i can only call in to preorder or go to a store. i can't do it online, nt like the normal jump program. everything else you said the rep said, so now i'm confused.

Pay full price at launch.

Hello friends, it's that time of year again. :)

I would pre-order via phone like last year, but they got my order wrong twice and my shipment was delayed to the end of October. Hopefully the preorder website won't be a disaster like it was 2 years ago.

Last year's phone-in pre-orders were a cluster ****.

But I did receive my 6s+ on release day. They just threw the retail Apple iPhone box in a poly bag and slapped a label on it.

Ok question here. I'm new to t-mobile.

I have a business account (not sure if that makes a difference or not). My 6S is also owned free & clear and unlocked (I came from ATT). I'm used to just ordering online and having it show up at my door, which it seems like I can't do with tmobile. If I'm understanding correctly, at 3am eastern I will have to call tmobile and pre-order the phone I want with them and they mail it to me? This isn't an issue since I'm up at that time anyway, I just don't want to screw this up

Also, do I have to enroll into the jump / jump on demand program manually, or am I auto-enrolled when I get a new device with an installment plan?

Thanks for any help!:apple:

Per John on Twitter :

Get a new iPhone 7 FOR FREE when you trade in your iPhone 6, 6+, 6s or 6s+!!!! Details on http://t-mobile.com really soon!

That's what I been hearing too on their official facebook page.
If you have an iphone 6 or 6S paid off you can trade up to an i7 for free.
Not sure but I think they will charge you the monthly fee for 24 months and deduct that same amount from your monthly service charge thus making it free.
Its a deal that I wont be able to pass up. Basicly like the old school 2 year contract but without having to pay the $199? :D
We'll find out more details soon I guess.

What happens if you got one last year and were paying it off on your monthly bill but it was supposed to be 20 months before it was fully paid?

I was in your position last year. I had a 6+ on a regular plan.

I called in on pre-order night and told them I wanted to get the 6s+. They had me pay off my 6+, which they charged my CC immediately.

They then placed a pre-order for the 6s+ on JOD.

Thanks! That sounds like something doable.
