I ordered a 128 Jet Black + over the phone 9/9, for my EIP at 3:25amEST and confirmation email 4:00amEST.
Was told 9/16 over the phone when ordered but order confirmation says 9/19-9/23.

Got the complete trade in text message this morning for the first time. The lady on the phone on 9/9 had already asked for the IMEI on my trade in, is it normal for them to have requested it again today? At least, feels good to have gotten some sort of progress from T-Mobile since placing my order last week.

Now, to the bad news, is that when I called the number today the lady almost immediately said "Oh you'll get a tracking number from UPS once they ship because jet blacks are backordered" Heres to hoping on some miracle progress.

not bad considering i ordered about 15 minutes after you and got nov 1-nov 30

Anytime the shipper (T-Mobile) does not have stock of what they sold it is "backordered". They could have had a minimal amount of Blacks, or maybe Apple saved them all for themselves.
Or I'm thinking there are still like 8 planes that flying in for tomorrow morning. Could be more black +'s.

Did you EIP? Or Buy outright? From T-Mobile or from Apple?
Yes, went with EIP (original Jump program) and I ordered through T-Mobile on the phone early morning after pre-orders went live. I think I got through to a representative about 40 mins after preorders went live.

And every years it's people like you that no matter what Apple does will still staunchly support them. And that's your right just like it's min to complain. You want to say the supply chains are strained and limited well how about Apple take some of the billions they make off us make some factories to produce some of these iphones in the US and give back to the American people. We all know every country looks to us for the hottest trends. If the US didn't support Apple they would be no where. Apple needs to do better period, point blank. And yes, before you say that they all manufacturer overseas well they all need to do better as well. But Apple is an American company so I think more so they need to do better when it comes to us.

And you're still not getting it.

Apple is producing iPhones as fast as they're able to today. Moving production to the U.S. would not make production faster, it would be radically slower. It would also drive the cost up for consumers by approximately 30%. Then everyone would have something to complain about.

I'm sorry, but your argument has zero merit.

Apple says Jet Black iPhone 7 and all 7 Plus models sold out; breaking news to those in line

Apple has issued a statement advising that it has completely sold out of the Jet Black iPhone 7 and allversions of the iPhone 7 Plus, thanks to pre-orders. It adds that ‘limited quantities’ of other finishes of the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 will be available to walk-in customers tomorrow.

We couldn’t be happier with the initial response to iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and we are looking forward to beginning sales through our retail stores and partners around the world.

Beginning Friday, limited quantities of iPhone 7 in silver, gold, rose gold, and black will be available for walk-in customers at Apple retail stores. During the online pre-order period, initial quantities of iPhone 7 Plus in all finishes and iPhone 7 in jet black sold out and will not be available for walk-in customers. Availability at partner locations for all finishes may vary and we recommend checking directly with them.

Customers can continue to order all models in all colors on apple.com. We sincerely appreciate our customers’ patience as we work hard to get the new iPhone into the hands of everyone who wants one as quickly as possible.

In Australia, staff have been breaking the news to those waiting in line at Apple Stores, informing them that not even those at the head of the line would be able to buy a 7 Plus. It handed out AUS$100 ($75) gift cards to those in line at a Sydney store by way of apology.

If it ships tomorrow and I have to wait until Tuesday (since UPS most likely won't run Sunday) I'm going to be really upset.

The only thing more annoying than this is when I got charged for 2 day shipping on my MacBook but got it 5 days later...

The worst part is I know people who ordered after me who already have their tracking numbers for identical models :S

So have the final production version done earlier or push back launch day. It's not that hard lol

Exactly! And also, this isn't Apple's first rodeo. They knew/know exactly what they are doing. Successfully created headlines that read "IPhone Plus sells out Worldwide!"

I'm getting extremely anxious. My 32GB 7 says that it should ship between today and tomorrow, but it still says being processed. I don't even have a tracking number :S

Did you order through T-Mobile? Or through Apple? Is it EIP, outright, or Jump OD?

Ordered over the phone with T-Mobile. I'm trading in my 5S.

If you had a tracking number, I'd say you were set - UPS seems to origin scan a bit haphazardly. If you don't have one, however, it doesn't look good.
