Is it?? I find blind optimism kind of annoying- of course I want my phone to come, and I come here for updates, but I don't want to hear a bunch of people who don't know what they're talking about saying "Don't worry guys, I'm sure we'll all get our phones tomorrow!"
If wanted wanted to hear this kind of uninformed make-believe I'd go wait for my phone in church.

T-Mobile's website says that orders processed after 2pm PST (5pm EST) will not ship until the following day, and I seriously doubt I'm getting Same Day shipping when it says I'm getting UPS Expedited Next Day, which most likely means my device won't be coming tomorrow.

If it does come tomorrow, I'll be excited, and I still have 30mins to get the tracking information.

What I'm upset about is the fact that I ordered on 9/9, at ~9:15pst, and haven't even gotten a tracking number, but meanwhile people who have ordered the exact same model on the 11th or even the 12th have not only gotten tracking numbers, some have even seen departure scans. Why would people who order after me get their device first?

I don't have an issue waiting, It's just I thought the point of pre-ordering early enough meant you got the item on release date. I know the JB Plus Models were going to be hard to get but Apple or someone else shoulda had this figured out before they went up for pre-order.

Me personally? No. I kept reading about people in previous launches that didn't get updates until their phone was in hand. I'm staying optimistic because I just got my 6s plus a week ago and my case and screen protector aren't even shipped from amazon yet. When t comes it comes. I'm forever an optimist though ...

The last bit there is why I'm upset. I made my order within 15 min of it going live, yet I've seen people that ordered after me getting shipping info. It's like my order got flagged JoD and put at the back.

i went through the same thing with the 6 plus from t mobile.. last year i got lucky i guess at the beginning not to many ordered the 6s plus because it wasn't that big of a upgrade.

Exactly. My plan right now is that if I don't get the information after 5pm, I'm getting up early to go to my local store and if they have a model in stock, get that, and then just cancel the order, or if it's shipped by then, return the device.

Remember our orders have been processing since 9/9 for those of us who preordered at midnight. The order status page hasn't exactly been up to date, a shipment can leave from Louisville at 2am friday and get to our homes that day which would be tomorrow. There's still plenty of time for things to start changing

Only thing I'm worried about is I have small hands (despite being 6'4" LOL). I miss the comfort of the 3.5" screen, but I LOVE having the 4.7" screen. Expecting something similar with the 5.5".
 
You guys are going so crazy over a phone that'll be old in less than 12 months. Some of you would rather pay a $50 restocking fee and wait outside a local store for 2 hours? Jeez, just wait a few days.
