I know John is a different kind of CEO, but this seems a little over the top.....

anyone notice that now on tmobile.com, it says the trade in credit is only if you switch to Tmobile One plan. Did they just change the promo???

yea that change happened today but it only applies those who preorder today. if you preordered prior to the 15th (today), you are NOT required to be on the Tmobile ONE plan.

well my loss for waiting a bit too long...
Did anyone figure out how the "monthly credit" will work after trading in the old iPhone 6 / 6s? I was told varied versions by each one of the reps i talked / chatted to.

What i figured is they give the credit of the trade in the value of the old device and then ask us to pay the same in 24 equal installments.

so if 6 plus gets you 196, they give lump sum credit to reduce the price to 454 from 650 and then the monthly credit of 18.95 appears but you have to pay 8.26 as monthly amount for 24 m.

So how is the new device free?

I was also very confused when my friend and I went to preorder her matte black 7 32GB yesterday. She traded in her fully paid off 6S. The rep said she will received a credit of ~$265 on her next bill, which essentially means she'll have two month's bill paid and some change. Then she will need to also pay ~$11 a month. So how is it free? I, myself, upgraded through JOD so I'm not getting any sort of credit, so I didn't know about this discrepancy until yesterday.

yay! Touch down in SoCal.... I can practically smell my phone from here.

Mine too! It arrived in Sylmar.

There are a lot of companies have warehouse/hubs around the Lousiville airport and I believe tmo does as well. So if a phone comes through there it really never leaves the airport.
[doublepost=1473987433][/doublepost]Sorry bro didn't see your post, but your right.
..........

I just have one question....

Is your cat licking your head in your avatar?

And I could be wrong, but from past experience and people who said they know.... Tmo has their main sort facility, very close to the main UPS hub in KY. From my understanding...that all happens essentially at the same place. Shipping to UPS is essentially driving across the parking lot, right by the airport in Louisville.

And please correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard several times, that carrier specific devices, are packed with all the carrier specific paperwork and software etc, at Foxconn. Those boxes aren't torn into by Tmo in the states.

Will T-Mobile retail stores be getting any of the Plus models, or was that notice from apple just talking about their own stores not having them?

I just called all the stores in my area and none of them knew what they were going to have for sale in the morning
