My UPS....or "track by reference ".
Though a warning.... the My UPS registration is somewhat creepy. Google it really quick. You gotta answer some really personal questions.
So I'm apart of the iPhone 7Plus Rose Gold 32GB club. Almost lost hope as T-Mobile attempted to charge my card two nights ago, but it was flagged as fraud for whatever reason. Called and updated my payment information that night. My status had changed to PartiallySAPBackorder. They tried to charge me again yesterday, but the payment didn't go through due to them messing up the last four digits of my card. So I had to update AGAIN yesterday afternoon. They finally charged me successfully about 3 hours ago. My status still says PartiallySAPBackorder, but I called about an hour ago to inquire about it. I guess what we see online when we log in is updated every 4-5 hours, while a separate system that only reps have access to update every 30 seconds (the lady's words, not mine). On her side of things, my phone is ready to ship and should go out tonight or in the morning. I should see an update on my side soon. No texts or labels created on UPS MyChoice yet. Just a charge and confirmation my phone is ready to ship.
All day long I was told the phone was backordered and that they would charge me whenever they were ready to ship, which was a contradiction if you ask me. Obviously it was ready to ship if they tried to charge me twice prior to today. Evidence that reps can be clueless.
Now I can breathe.

apple screwed up on this launch. no reason for a release to be this constrained. it's aggravating.
got two iphones 7 base models coming tomorrow... and they're on 2 different shipping routes per the tracking ... hopefully they will arrive.

They should of just waited until week. I can understand jet black being on back order, but matte black too, what is this lol. How are the two main colors the ones not being mass produced
You know this is why Apple isn't releasing details on the launch. Because the highest demanded colors aren't going to be presented in the numbers. Hard to make it look like your launch was successful when two of five colors are essentially non existent.
That makes sense. I had one rep earlier today to call on a billing issue (my bank closed my original card for fraud) tell me it was back-ordered without me asking. When she went to change my card number it wouldn't let her, so she checked with a supervisor and said it was already charged and not actually backordered but is down in the warehouse to be pulled and shipped for me to receive tomorrow.
Still no tracking or updates online, but I never received them two years ago either. I'm expecting it tomorrow, but can't check my-choice to verify since I'm having it sent to work.

My case comes via UPS tomorrow.. probably same time as my iPhone 7my case looks so nice in person...if only I had a phone to stick into it tomorrow
I understand that it's just a phone but at the end of the day what's the point of preorder if you're not getting your phone on launch day? Apple knows what they're doing and they messed up. Either they should of cut orders off at a certain number or they should of waited a week or so until they had enough supply for the demand. Just saying.

people on here thinking it was to capitalize on the note 7 recall makes sense i buy it. but if these phones were in production for months what gives
You're exactly right. It should be clear to the customers whats available and what's not. That way people aren't dissapointed and can make proper purchasing decisions.
Exactly. Because at this point the hype for the phone is just over with to me. I'm not even excited because I literally have no idea what's going on. And on top of it my shipping address is still wrong and with people saying phones can be delivered without any updates.... This sh*t is just ridiculous. So to me... My phones prob getting sent to someone else whenever it comes that is.
Well it's official, my girlfriends iphone 7 32GB in gold will be here tomorrow, I live in South Jersey and it's in Philadelphia now. I have no idea when I am going to get my black 32GB plus (although if I had to guess I'd say the end of next week) and I decided against trying to hunt for one tonight/tomorrow as the likelihood of coming back with one is too low At least I can say I scored a 7 on launch day. I will keep my streak intact, even if I have to attach an *.
Yeah almost every single corporate store in the Tampa area is getting 5 Matte 7 128/256 to stock. All 3rd party stores are getting nothing... Supply is rough
But I ordered my wife a 32GB RG 7 and it is supposed to ship Monday
Who knows maybe the 10 planes in the sky are all tmobiles phones. They're someone's, and they aren't just going to sit there overnight I could nearly guarantee you that.
