Well it's official, my girlfriends iphone 7 32GB in gold will be here tomorrow, I live in South Jersey and it's in Philadelphia now. I have no idea when I am going to get my black 32GB plus (although if I had to guess I'd say the end of next week) and I decided against trying to hunt for one tonight/tomorrow as the likelihood of coming back with one is too low At least I can say I scored a 7 on launch day. I will keep my streak intact, even if I have to attach an *.

i would love to know what apple told their production partners when they put in the order for the plus models

Yeah almost every single corporate store in the Tampa area is getting 5 Matte 7 128/256 to stock. All 3rd party stores are getting nothing... Supply is rough

But I ordered my wife a 32GB RG 7 and it is supposed to ship Monday
You might as well change your signature now:p

So....I live in NW Indiana, by Chicago. My phone has been in Indianapolis for 6 hours. Should I worry? I'm still pretty sure it should be here tomorrow.

I understand that it's just a phone but at the end of the day what's the point of preorder if you're not getting your phone on launch day? Apple knows what they're doing and they messed up. Either they should of cut orders off at a certain number or they should of waited a week or so until they had enough supply for the demand. Just saying.
[doublepost=1473990218][/doublepost]And too add it's not a consistent amount of people being charged and shipped for one color/ one model. This is alllllll over the place.

Understand the frustration but preorders are not a guarantee for obtaining a phone launch day. It's simply a placeholder so you can get your phone asap. If there wasn't a preorder the store would be chaos like it used to be. Would be nice if apple had enough supply but they like the attention. The buzz for this launch day is a lot bigger than I expected. Perhaps they are creating the demand by controlling the supply? They won't be releasing launch numbers this year so who knows.

They brought back jet black... And now a new matte black..... That there is enough excitement to make more supply knowing people would be most interested in those colors since they are new. N.E.W. Draws a lot of people's attention. This is just my opinion. I'm not completely butt hurt. I'll just be mad if my bf gets his 7 before I get my 7+ even though we ordered the same exact time.

So no hope that my 32 gb - matte black - iPhone 7 plus will arrive tomorrow if it still says "in progress" with a 9/27-10/10 estimated ship date? I vaguely remember my 6s preorder with tmobile last year not giving me a shipping notice until 1 am on launch day

I have both on my 6S and I can't which one is better I like both feels and build. The silicon is more grippy but the leather looks a bit better. Can go wrong with either one.
Considering I don't want something slippery since the 7+' is almost double my hand size I think silicone may be my best bet.

I have a black plus with a ship date of 9/19-9/26 and I'm convinced I won't see it until next week. No one on here with blacks reporting them being shipped so I'd be of the opinion you definitely won't get it tomorrow.

I'm contemplating between the leather and the silicone.
I went with the leather, and use it on my 6s too. The silicone ones are good for a bit, but then they become too tacky/grippy...like they pull your pocket inside out when you pull the phone out, haha.
