Good thing I'm off work tomorrow to answer my nonexistant doorbell ring while receiving and signing for my invisible matte clear small enough to not feel it big enough to wish you had it iPhone 7 plus.
Good thing you are then, because otherwise you wouldn't be able to see the invisible plus sized 7 if it was just sitting on your doorstep!

The invisible black matte finish will really shine though. Really pop.

My dad and I ordered the same type of phone (color, carrier, gb). He pre-ordered in store on 9/9. I preordered hours earlier on the phone on 9/9 but screwed things up w payment. Spoke to T-Mobile, looks like I'll be getting mine next week.

I keep forlornly telling him how upset I am that I have to wait a week but he hasn't offered to give me his in the mean time (I would just give him mine whenever it comes).

Apple: Tearing families apart.

some VZW people were charged for 32/128 7+ black orders...
Every carrier thought they were getting the 7+ in today but the limited amount mostly went to to Apple. I'm in the 19-26 club so I'm expecting Tues-Wednesday.

Apple really messed up this launch. They needed to make sure they had enough on-hand for the launch, or limit countries or even delay the launch. They wanted to keep a schedule and that soured lots of people. This mess up is going to cost them lost of loyalty "points" from many people.

Like many others here, I was "guaranteed" an iPhone 7 Plus 128 GB (matte black) when I ordered last Friday at lunch. I called back a few hours later when I still hadn't received the DocuSign and was told by that rep that the first CSR had ordered my phone in Rose Gold. She put in a new order for black, and the DocuSign didn't arrive until Saturday. I got in touch with Executive Response and the best they could do is supposedly put me back in the queue from my original order date. I got a $150 bill credit since my dates are 9/27+ and they couldn't bump me enough to receive it on launch like they promised. Next year I will probably order via Apple.

Just a FYI some Tmobile stores even though they have the new iPhone in stock some won't sell you it if your just doing an upgrade just need lines. Also no plus in NYC area , majority of the NYC stores only got 3 phones in stock. So it's going to be very limited.

As a Father - I can say that I have sacrificed a lot for my kids, but I would be very unlikely to let them have the new toy first. The only person that comes first is my wife.

aren't more countries getting the new iPhones starting next week?

lol my best guess right now is the reps get bored and tired of answering the thousands of calls from customers wondering when their iPhone is going to ship and/or demanding special treatment because they've been with t-mobile since it was voicestream or something lol.

My guesses:
1. The reps don't actually know when your phone will ship
2. They don't know whether your phone has shipped or not
3. The orders are probably picked at random (given the way some people ordered this week and still have a tracking number and orders ordered at the strike of midnight and haven't had any status updates)
I'm a rep and this is more or less accurate. Log in to your account on T-Mobile.com and look at your order - you now know everything I do about your order when you call in.

If you do the Apple program don't you have to pay more then you would through a carrier ?

The last few phones I have gone though T-Moble. This launch the issue is not T-Mobile but really the complexities and the cost of some of the other elements does not really save my money. I will also be going with Apple for the next version.

The list of countries for this weeks launch is rediculous. It has all of the heavy hitters including China

Not really, depends on how you factor in the insurance costs and other things with T-Mobile. While t-Mobile is $28 a month if you add insurance that is $12 -- totaling $40 a month. Apple is about the same.

That makes sense. I had one rep earlier today to call on a billing issue (my bank closed my original card for fraud) tell me it was back-ordered without me asking. When she went to change my card number it wouldn't let her, so she checked with a supervisor and said it was already charged and not actually backordered but is down in the warehouse to be pulled and shipped for me to receive tomorrow.

Still no tracking or updates online, but I never received them two years ago either. I'm expecting it tomorrow, but can't check my-choice to verify since I'm having it sent to work.

I'm pretty much used to the slow updates with overnight shipping especially from T-Mobile. They always send me my tracking number when I'm sleeping. I just hate we don't truly have up-to-date information when it comes to orders and what we're paying for. Don't tell me it's backordered when you already have a phone for me. Unnecessary stress LOL. I had a supervisor tell me they were trying to charge everybody early just to get it out of the way. If that's the case, everyone in here wouldn't be begging them to take their money.

Well, here's to sitting on my ass all day tomorrow.

There was no line at my local t-mobile in the city. The lady was really trying hard to convince me out of joining the line with: "we don't have a lot of phones", "you're better off preordering", "you're going to have to cancel your preorder while you wait in line", "you already signed EIP, it's gonna be hard". Who is the customer here? Almost like she was trying to save some up for herself or her friends. Tempting to go early and join the line considering half of my phone is blacked out and cracked making it unusable.

What's the best option for next launch? Order through apple.com. Get apple care instead of jump. Profit?
