Congrats on the the Monday delivery :)

There is no preference between EIP and Jump/JOD, in the eyes of Tmo. There were many JOD peeps who got their phones yesterday :)

I don't know if its intentional but seems like they still do not know what they were doing. For example both times I called, they wanted to charge me the $20 for not doing it online. The first rep said she had to charge me but she would put a credit on my account. The second said he could wave it without charging me and he did. I also went into the store before ordering mine and they said the $20 was required there too but that just had a conference call and were told waiving that fee was done for all teams. This was before I called to ores it over the phone and the guy waived it before charging.

T-Mobile would go along away if they could some of their crap together and be consistent. It would surprise me if my phones came sooner because my last name starts with a 'B'. The system they use is flawed though I feel I benefitted this year. Though they seem to be learning because the per model shipping estimates they provided online helps people who don't really care about color decide what they can get quicker.

Yeah i still don't know what case to get. I ordered glass screen protectors. Idk how I will like them but I really don't want to screw this phone up
yeah I peeled off the protective plastic and slid the glass screen protectors on first thing last night, which was no easy task to begin with, nevermind with people breathing down my neck wanting their new phones. I got military grade cases for two reasons, my mother-in-law (need I say more?) and my wife likes to carry her ecig around next to her phone screen (drives me bonkers) I can't believe her old iphone isn't scratched all over. Oh and the children, so three reasons. Can't see the phones but I know how great they look inside the cases.

AMEN! or words to that effect.
They'd also save themselves a lot of money by not having to give out credits willy-nilly because the system is so screwed up.

URGENT INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!!!!! No matter how many times you look at this thread or post to it, your phone will get to you when it gets to you.
This annocement was brought to you by common sense.

Wait, I'm confused. I thought if I refresh this thread, Tmobile would know I want my phone REALLY badly and would expedite my order??!!?!!

No need for the holier than thou approach, buddy.

6 years of pre-orders and first time I don't receive it on launch...sighhhhh. On the phone at 3am eastern EIP signed at 3:25am or so. Anyways, ordered 7+ rose gold and black.

Order on T-Mobile says "We are only able to show one item of your order right now". Shows the rose gold with the 9/16-9/26 date. Sitting at being processed since my order went through.

I have a similar issue. Ordered MB 7 and 7+ and I only see 7. Gives me the same message and I only see 7. But the app shows me both the orders, weird! Anyways, I got confirmation texts for both the orders separately and my dates are the same for both of them.

Looking at the movements of orders in this thread, it appears to me that my MB 7 should have moved yesterday but 7+ probably held it back. I read somewhere that T-Mobile ships your orders on a transaction basis. So if you have two orders on one transaction and one of them is taking longer, the order one will be held as well. Not sure if that's true but would make sense in my case.

I hear ya...but I honestly don't think there's anything too broken with their system. Sure, there is the normal rep silliness with one saying you owe a fee and another saying you don't....but it's by no means wide-spread. They are dealing with millions of orders. There will always be a few that are wonky. With any carrier.

More than anything, the heightened anxiety and defcon 10 OCD makes people think the entire system must be broken, when their order isn't perfect ;) 99% of the time...even the people who think the sky is falling from day one, usually get their phone as scheduled.

OMG, hundreds of people who posted here, including myself, had no idea! God I feel so dumb. You changed my life, thank you! What would we have done without your eye-opening comment, I mean this thread would have went on and on... Jeez!

Hmmm. Not at all trying to cause panic with ya, but the Jet Blacks could be a different story.

I still say, hang in there and don't do anything drastic yet, like canceling your order.

The Jet Blacks plus model are the only ones that is potentially going to take a bit longer. But...there is still a chance you could get it on time. Hang in there!

I don't have back-Ordered status on my 128GB Jet Black plus yet, still says being processed but after reading some of these updates I'm not hopeful:confused:

I was hoping next week would bring good tidings but it's looking more and more dower by the day

The Jet Blacks are particulary a problem, mostly due to slow manufacturing process. Those 8 layers of Black apparently take much longer! Good things take time, I am sure it will be worth the wait.

It's funny we had both the Matte Black and Jet Black right under our noses this whole time - the new Apple TV remote! ;)

None of the carriers are better suited to handle the kind of volumes on pre-order day, especially the first few hours. Heck, even Apple's site goes down and they are a technology company! The size is sheer madness and it's *very* hard to handle that kind of volume every second - mostly due to interdependency. Even when you place an order through Apple, they still have to do a bunch of checks with your carrier and they really can't guarantee their reponse time. It would be best if carriers let Apple handle the entire thing all on their own and just do the job that they do - provide service.

Imagine how smooth this could have been if we all placed orders through Apple, no matter the carrier/configuration/plan/program and it would all be first come, first served. You have any problems with order, you call Apple.

I really hope the rumored Apple SIM would replace the need for multiple carrier types for when you order a phone. So much easier for inventory management!

Question. I need a new phone. With JOD since I can upgrade 3 times a year is it possible for me to go upgrade to a 6S plus while my 7 Plus is still in process. I'm losing hope my phone will even come this week. I ordered 7+ J 128gb. Ordered at 2:58 EST. My original ship date is 9/19 to 9/26
Jumping to another phone prior to getting your 7 could/might potentially make a mess out of your preorder or could cause it to cancel since your current phone is required to be turned in for the 7 order. I believe you'd have to redo your order for the 7 and it would push back even further.

That's a great idea!

It really would simplify things, if it was more like the separation of TV and cable. We don't call Comcast when purchasing a new TV.
