That's the same one I have ordered.
These reps telling everyone that their order is delayed by a month and a half don't make any sense. 3-4 days ago they were telling me I will get it on launch day.
It's pointless calling them.
Idk if it helps but I ordered on 9/8/16 at 2:54 am est

Yeah, gotta agree. Not trying to harsh any JB mellow here....but when I first saw the JB's, it was instant "holy mother mary of christopher!" that is gorgeous. Then, reality set in. Smudges. Scratches. Protection needed from minute one, which would defeat the purpose of the glossy glory to begin with etc.

Can't wait for matte bliss :)
Personally I don't think Steve Jobs would have allowed the JB...

Personally I think that T-Mobile is full of S**t when they say we will be getting our phones on the estimated dates because on their website it says we won't even get them till November soooo all the 256 gig people like me can expect to be screwed till November -_-

Those dates are for if you ordered one today. Does not reflect preorders

They told me Santa was only delivering them to the good boys and girls.

Just think. The longer it takes to get. The shorter you will own it before next year's mindblowing iPhone X

And wow. Next year? Apple Store only at 3 AM EDT.

I cancelled my delayed order (JB Plus 256GB) and placed a new order for the 256 GB Plus Matte Black. Just out of curiosity, does T-Mobile charge the card immediately or when the order is shipped? I was told that only when the order is shipped.

I got charged as soon as I signed the EIP agreement. Maybe they just want to verify the founds and it will get release by the bank after a few days?

They charged you the full amount?

Thank you. My order was in about 4 hours after yours.
Maybe I'll get lucky soon.

Screenshots. If this is the case I'll be FURIOUS.

I was on the phone but I don't think they know much.
I told them that could be the wait for people that order now. How could preorders be the same? She didn't know what to say.
They're pretty much clueless.

I was contemplating canceling my matte black and getting gold

So an updated to my phone...

It was sitting in their Kentucky warehouse for three days, and I called and chatted and no one could tell me why it would be sitting there for three days. One of the reps said to wait three more days to see if it gets picked up by UPS, and I said that is not an acceptable answer to anything. I filed a claim with UPS, and they contacted T-Mobile on my behalf to inform them that they have never received my phone from their warehouse, and the device is clearly sitting in their warehouse. My claim was resolved with no communication further. I wake up to another charge for the phone from T-Mobile (So now I have two charges of $202), and they refunded the original transaction. My device was picked up at 3-4AM by UPS and it is in Philadelphia now waiting for delivery on Monday.

Long story short, since T-Mobile can't tell me anything, here is what I came to the conclusion of. Either my phone was misplaced or stolen, and that is why it was never scanned in by UPS. Once I filed the claim via UPS, T-Mobile was forced to explain where my device was, and they simply grabbed another one to fulfil my order. This is why I was charged a second time.

That's the only thing I can come to, let me know if any of that makes sense to anyone else. Either way, my device will be here Monday...

Man, now after hearing all these stories about the JB, starting to wonder if I should switch to matte black as well. Supposedly my order was supposed to have been prioritized by the exec team, and he said they were to get in another shipment today with potential movement on Monday for delivery Tuesday, but who really knows. If people are getting that quick of access to matte black, hmmm...

Wow, I'm glad you did your own research and took action.
If not you could have been stuck waiting for a month and getting the run around from customer service reps.
They make things so impossible sometimes and all they do is blow you off and read some scripted answers.

Yeah, I could see that. Sounds harsh, but could be true. It is the first Apple device in history, that they have officially "recommended" using a case for; minus the antenna/bumper issue of course. Covering up their design with a case, does go against the core belief of Apple...so to speak.
