I had my matte 32gb 7 Plus held at a UPS facility for pickup tomorrow, will it be a problem picking it up because i have my work address on the package but the name matches my ID of course. I know USPS lets me pickup packages when the address doesnt match my ID but idk about UPS.

I don't get how people with MB 7+'s 32GB are getting lucky and have already been charged/shipped with the same ship date as me (9/27-10/10)??? I ordered so quick on 9/9 and I really just want my phones.... one of my 6 Plus's has been stuck on "Searching..." for a whole week and I can't fix it and need a new phone ASAP. C'mon Apple & T-Mobile... we preorder for a reason!
Couple of more planes landing in Louisville in another 15 minutes. Let's see if these carry any unicorns.

I do find it humorous how many people bag on the Note 7. Take out the recall situation, it's a phenomenal phone. As someone who currently has it and is waiting for the 7+ to come in, while I'm disappointed in the recall, the phone itself is terrific and from what I've been reading, the camera surpasses the 7+. I'm looking forward to giving the 7+ a try, but wouldn't be shocked if I ended back with the Note 7. Everything has to be so competitive (Android vs. iOS or Samsung vs. Apple). There are other great phones out there besides the iPhone. No reason to bag on the Note 7 or S7 Edge as both are terrific phones. Once the recall situation sorts itself out (sounds like the new ones will be there by Wednesday), it'll be interesting to see if people actually have unbiased opinions.

You are usually grandfathered in promo or not. I've been on simple choice promo for a couple years. They got rid of that a lot time ago. The key is to not make any changes after you are in.
Yea i see how you can be frustrated but out of all the people that called right at preorder launch there has to be some sort of line created, and if they dont have anymore phones left when it comes to your slot then it is what it is. Sad to say

Though when i called customer service about returning my recalled Note 7, the girl (I'm guessing in the Philippines, i had a hard time understanding evrything she said) actually started to switch me over to TMOne before i realized, i had to stop her once i realized what she was doing. So i may be grandfathered, but they seem pretty aggresive about switching people.
I've had all the notes since the 2 excluding the 7 and they have all been great. My only gripe is the eventual lagging of Samsung phones over time. I just think the fluidity of iPhones operation is what wins out for me in the end. Either way they are both great and you get so much more customization with the notes so it just a preference thing.
Same here man. Will use both and see. It's been hard to let go of the Note 7. It's a GREAT phone.

Note 7 has no availability date.....but i do agree on the idea that we should protest because we pray such high prices for our phones and preorder them and yet we get treated to the same thing every year
A new car was recently launched. It's a fantastic car and no other car in the market comes close to that car in terms of features and price value. The company wanted to release their car sooner than rival manufacturer and so it had to rush through the manufacturing process. Unfortunately, the car has a major braking problem due to the neglect of the company and this has caused many fatal accidents. But the company has promised that it will fix the car and release a new version, which it did. The car, after the issues have been resolved is now the best car in the market in that segment.
There, I tried to make it "unbiased" for you so we can talk about the actual problem at hand here instead of which phone is better and which features are more important.
I do find it humorous how many people will still choose to focus on the features of the car here and not on the carelessness of the company.
It's really a small supply being charged. It will ramp up but the 7+ has supply constraints. That's the reality of the situation.
I'm very confident there will be some devices shipping in the plus family, but keep in mind these orders are fulfilled from Apple directly. T-Mobile provides the numbers to Apple and Apple sends available devices to T-Mobile. Unfortunately that's how it's been since the iPhone has been on T-Mobile (this has literally been happening since 2013 - it was even more prevalent in 2014 and 2015).
Keep in mind that even if you were to order from Apple, you'd still have the problems faced with waiting for the order to ship for a 2-3 week time frame (if you were to order now for a plus in most colors. If it is jet black, November).
All of this said, supply will come. I'm honestly considering using Apple and purchasing an unlocked VZW model and not deal with the subsidized aspects here. Regardless, we are going to be waiting for a bit. Whether that's a week, two weeks or longer, there's going to be a waiting period.
PS. T-Mobile cancelled my order last Sunday. I was upset at the experience but in hindsight, it's okay.
Question: If this iPhone 7 "hissing" thing blows out of proportion, would you consider it as Apple being "careless"? Was Apple careless when the antenna issue came about and we were told to put a case on the phone?
my matte black 32 7+ shipped out last night at 9:49pm. According to the UPS tracking ill get it by end of day tomorrow i didn't get any updates on tracking till about 1 day after being charged.
