I do find it humorous how many people bag on the Note 7. Take out the recall situation, it's a phenomenal phone. As someone who currently has it and is waiting for the 7+ to come in, while I'm disappointed in the recall, the phone itself is terrific and from what I've been reading, the camera surpasses the 7+. I'm looking forward to giving the 7+ a try, but wouldn't be shocked if I ended back with the Note 7. Everything has to be so competitive (Android vs. iOS or Samsung vs. Apple). There are other great phones out there besides the iPhone. No reason to bag on the Note 7 or S7 Edge as both are terrific phones. Once the recall situation sorts itself out (sounds like the new ones will be there by Wednesday), it'll be interesting to see if people actually have unbiased opinions.

I'm looking forward to comparing the two.
I just like the navigation on the iphone some android people think it isn't really intuitive, but that is one of the reasons.
Plus my relative have iphones just easier for me to go with apple iphone over any top of the line android.

T-Mobile cancelled my order. I completed my EIP paperwork and received confirmation from T-Mobile that I was all set on 9-9-16 at 12:18am PST. I called to follow-up on my order because it wasn't showing up on my account. I never received an email that they had cancelled the order. When I call they said that it was cancelled because I didn't sign my EIP. When I told them that I have a confirmation that I did sign it, they asked if I signed it on my phone. I did. They said that's the problem, you can't sign it on your phone. I called BS and asked to have this escalated as they said that all they can do for me is re-order and give me a $20 credit. UNACCEPTABLE.

They transferred me to their "Retention Dept." They said the same thing. I told them that if they make me wait again, I might as well order from Verizon or AT&T since the wait would be the same and they are the ones that messed up. I did everything that I was asked. I am supposed to receive a call back today. We will see if they offer anything more. The only reason that a manager is calling back is that I told them if they couldn't find someone to help me that I would email John Legere.

What I would like to know is if anyone has received a jet black iPhone 7+ that ordered in the first hour of the pre-order time. I can't believe that I am having to deal with this and that they don't want to help.

I'm having the same issues

Question: If this iPhone 7 "hissing" thing blows out of proportion, would you consider it as Apple being "careless"? Was Apple careless when the antenna issue came about and we were told to put a case on the phone?

Of course Apple was a fault with the antenna issue and careless about it. But at least I haven't heard of any stories of faulty antenna ever causing fatal accidents. But if they did, yes, I would hold Apple to the same standards. At least I care about safety more than any stupid phone.

It is careless to leave your child in your car while you go grocery shopping and it is also careless to always forget your wallet. I hope people recognize these are different levels of carelessness.

I understand that you're asking if anyone has RECEIVED one yet, which I am curious about as well... However, it was confirmed by a rep this morning that mine will in fact be shipping this week. She said that they did have a limited number in stock, and I just happened to get mine in early enough. It seems to be that the fault lies with Apple because this has been an issue across all carriers and in stores, included the Apple store.
And to clarify this IS the jet black 7+ 128 that I'm talking about.

I find it humorous you say, "take out the recall situation" like it's some tiny thing like the screens going bad. The phone is literally exploding and you play it off like it's a bad home button or something.

Was on the phone with a TMO rep.. Even though I have received conflicting messages from them, and from their Twitter support, each and every time I have asked for an estimate on when I should be getting it, I've been told that the 9/19 - 9/26 timeframe was still valid and that it should ship out this coming week. I spoke with a representative just an hour or so ago and was told the same.

Background: Ordered a 7 plus 128 GB, Black at 12AM PST, 9/9, and signed EIP and received confirmation by 12:44AM. Despite having received an order number, the only place where I see my order is in the app. My.tmobile does not show the order, and I can't look it up using the view order link included in the confirmation email or text. The app says, "being processed" with 9/19-9/26 delivery with overnight shipping.

No credit card charge as of this morning.

Wow im here the same thing just tmo app not online

When I tried to sign the EIP on my phone it wouldn't let me and told me I had to go on a computer and do it, so it's odd that it let you sign on your phone.

You are the third person I've seen with a cancelled order. What a ridiculous situation. I'm scared to be with T-Mobile at this point. What else are they going to mess up?

Pre ordered the 128gb jb 7+ Signed eip at 315 am est and received order confirmation email around 330 am est. still no charge or change in order status

Bummer my wife ordered a 7 32gb silver on Friday through her work for ATT and just got charged. Meanwhile my tmobile order for 7 +JB 128GB ordered on 9/9 is a unicorn and no activity. Guess I picked wrong color

I really hope you get your phone this week, I ordered at 3:00am eastern time and I'm not sure I'll actually see a phone till October or November. I've seen no evidence of anyone who actually has the 7+ in Jet Black. I think it's like the Loch Ness Monster or UFO's. Never any real evidence that they exist

When I pre-ordered from T-Mobile 2 years ago in-store, I had to sign the EIP that they had emailed me. The store guy told me it had to be done over email within 48 hours. Are you sure you can sign the EIP over phone? Never heard of that. As far as I understand, the only reason you have to sign the one they send over email is because there's a long, long payment disclosure and legally, when it comes to payment plans, every company is mandated to make sure that the customer has an option to read ALL the terms and conditions, that too in a specific tabular format. And the only way to do so is when you actually read the EIP, either a hard copy or soft copy. I can't imagine anyone doing this over phone. (I know this because I used to work at a FinTech startup)

Are you sure it was just the disclosure that you signed over the phone? I placed my order via phone too and they ask you to sign the discloure verbally but it is not the payment plan. There may be more than one disclosure to sign depending on your state and its laws - verbally is fine for this case. If the rep didn't tell you about the EIP or told you that you were all set, they blew it.

But either ways, it makes sense why your order would be cancelled in this scenario. It's an automated system.

Not sure of the exact time. I know I placed the call at 3:02 (ET) and got straight through with no hold time. I would guess somewhere between 3:05 and 3:10. Shipping window is 9/19-26.

I asked her multiple times and she assured me that if it was going to be pushed back it already would have changed. But I'm with you, nothing's for sure until I actually have it in my hands.

Wow not bad. I placed the call 4 minutes after 12 pst and it took 45 minutes to get ahold. I attempted the website first and then realized I was getting nowhere.

I've had all the notes since the 2 excluding the 7 and they have all been great. My only gripe is the eventual lagging of Samsung phones over time. I just think the fluidity of iPhones operation is what wins out for me in the end. Either way they are both great and you get so much more customization with the notes so it just a preference thing.
That I agree with. Always lag after a while and one reason I do like iOS over Android.

I have the Docusign app on my iPhone and use it all the time. Maybe that is why mine went through. However, it DID go through and I have the signed EIP that T-Mobile sent me back.

Mine was completed online. I received a confirmation of my order with the link to Docusign the EIP, which I did. Then I received an email confirming my completing of the EIP with a copy of the EIP signed through Docusign.
