T-Mobile cancelled my order. I completed my EIP paperwork and received confirmation from T-Mobile that I was all set on 9-9-16 at 12:18am PST. I called to follow-up on my order because it wasn't showing up on my account. I never received an email that they had cancelled the order. When I call they said that it was cancelled because I didn't sign my EIP. When I told them that I have a confirmation that I did sign it, they asked if I signed it on my phone. I did. They said that's the problem, you can't sign it on your phone. I called BS and asked to have this escalated as they said that all they can do for me is re-order and give me a $20 credit. UNACCEPTABLE.

They transferred me to their "Retention Dept." They said the same thing. I told them that if they make me wait again, I might as well order from Verizon or AT&T since the wait would be the same and they are the ones that messed up. I did everything that I was asked. I am supposed to receive a call back today. We will see if they offer anything more. The only reason that a manager is calling back is that I told them if they couldn't find someone to help me that I would email John Legere.

What I would like to know is if anyone has received a jet black iPhone 7+ that ordered in the first hour of the pre-order time. I can't believe that I am having to deal with this and that they don't want to help.
I hate to tell you this, but you Cannot sign your EIP over your phone. It doesn't matter if you use an app that looks like it works. It doesn't.

That's bull. I ordered at midnight and it gave me a 10/25-11/11 shipping date range
I was actually shocked. I was fully expecting to cancel it and see if I could get the MB any sooner. I do remember when I called back trying to order my wife's about an hour later (after getting disconnected) that the guy told me that the girl I talked to the first time was only the third one to place an order.
But I thought maybe this could give others a little bit of hope at least. Maybe they really do exist??

And you're right by the way. It's complete bull. Apple clearly misrepresented the availability of the very phone that they plastered in every ad and website that sells their product.

Ok, might be stupid but. What if I remote into my desktop from my phone to sign the eip? And also got the eip signed confirmation email?

I'm in that range and have had my card charged and have had my phone shipped. According to the UPS tracking it arrives tomorrow. I got the exact same phone as you btw.
What the heck!! Mine didn't cost with JOD so I won't be able to check that but according to the 'smart' reps at T-Mobile it still isn't shipped or anything and UPS doesnt say anything :((

A new car was recently launched. It's a fantastic car and no other car in the market comes close to that car in terms of features and price value. The company wanted to release their car sooner than rival manufacturer and so it had to rush through the manufacturing process. Unfortunately, the car has a major braking problem due to the neglect of the company and this has caused many fatal accidents. But the company has promised that it will fix the car and release a new version, which it did. The car, after the issues have been resolved is now the best car in the market in that segment.

There, I tried to make it "unbiased" for you so we can talk about the actual problem at hand here instead of which phone is better and which features are more important.

I do find it humorous how many people will still choose to focus on the features of the car here and not on the carelessness of the company.

As someone who once worked in electronics manufacturing, I know sometimes mistakes get made. I'm not giving them a pass or not holding them accountable. But the recall situation will be remedied. And the phone, outside of that, is very good. That's all I'm saying.

Finding a battery defect is very difficult. I believe there's around 85 or 90 cases or a battery situation out of 2.1M phones sold. It's very difficult to have QC find that problem when it happens 0.4% of the time. You can stress test the battery, put it under a ton of conditions and still not have it happen. Again, not giving them a pass. They should have done everything in their power to make sure nothing like this happens. But EVERY manufacturer makes mistakes. Apple did it with the antenna situation (and then, if you recall told us we were holding our phones wrong). Toyota has a stuck accelerator issue. Ford has had massive recalls. If you make something that is high enough volume, you're bound to have problems.

I'm not saying that the recall isn't dangerous or a huge mistake. It is. But taking the recall situation out of the picture, the Note 7 is incredible and likely will beat the 7+ in camera, video, display and design. However, iOS vs. Android is like picking between Canon/Nikon or Coke/Pepsi. It's a personal preference. Personally, I love the customization of Android but don't like the lag. iOS is much better from an integrative perspective and speed. I like both. I don't need to pick one or the other. That's why I hardly ever buy into a constrictive ecosystem. I make sure whatever I use is available on both platforms.

Then you didn't actually sign it on your phone. You're just using your phone to interface with your desktop. I tried signing mine with my phone the first time and it specifically gave me an error that I couldn't do that.

Mine was completed online. I received a confirmation of my order with the link to Docusign the EIP, which I did. Then I received an email confirming my completing of the EIP with a copy of the EIP signed through Docusign.[/QUOTE]

Well, that's just ****ed up then!

I find it humorous you say, "take out the recall situation" like it's some tiny thing like the screens going bad. The phone is literally exploding and you play it off like it's a bad home button or something.

How did I play it off? I just said removing that part of it and compare. The recall is certainly very dangerous and I don't give them a break on it. It was careless, but also EXTREMELY difficult to pinpoint a problem that happens 0.4% of the time. If it makes everyone feel better, fine, the S7 Edge is just as good of a phone as the Note (minus the RAM). I don't get why some people are so sensitive about any criticism or praise for a manufacturer not named Apple. I love Apple, but they aren't number 1 across the board on all categories of phone anymore.

They haven't sent you anything?? I got emails from tmobile when they charged me, when it shipped and when the payment went through. And from UPS too lol
I haven't gotten any emails or texts except when I signed the email upon ordering and got the confirmation text/email with my order number. Other than that, nothing since I ordered on 9/9 @ 10 am
