No movement from 11/01/2016-11/30/2016. Not surprised. Ordered an IPhone 7 Jet Black 128gb. This launch is just like how it was when Apple Watch came out. I ordered Apple Watch 5 minutes after launch and didn't receive Apple Watch until 1 month after launch day. People who ordered after me were receiving it before me.

My two 7+ 32gb MB with original 9/27-10/10 dates are showing they are in my city and I will get them by 3pm tomorrow. Hope everyone gets their phones soon.
Same I ordered the 7+ 32 go MB and I have the same shipping dates but no charges on my cc or nothing what city are you in? That its showing youl get yours by 3pm tommarrow I ordered mine on the 9th at 2:30 am Arizona time and still nothing

alright chill out
you and everyone else knows what i mean
or maybe why don't they make pre order date farther away from release date to have an idea of how many they are going to need of launch date
like make pre order date august 25 and then release september 16 so then can make enough and maybe give accurate ship dates
That is what normally happens every year( see attached). This year I think they are trying to capitalize on the fiasco of the note 7.

I'm right outside of Atlanta. Mines was placed at 6:45am by an exec team member.

i understand its hard to predict future sells but didnt last year pre-order take in about 10 million phones? why not start with that?

Cause if they only expected preorders to be 3 million for example (based on everyone's whining and complaining about dropping the audio jack for the last couple months), you don't make 10 million. That's not how business works.

Uhhhh, they did. They always do. But they didn't expect the interest to be as high as it was. Obviously, you've never worked in an industry where you have to forecast future costs and expected volumes. Apparently, it's easy and you have it all figured out.

CEO: "Team, make a crap ton of these."
Team: "Yes, sir! Wait... how many is that again?"
CEO: "I don't know, just make what the user kdking on macrumors thinks is a crap ton and that should be sufficient!"
Team: "Uh...ok...Right away sir!"

{Yeah! Problem solved!}

That's a bs excuse.
After 9 years of the same old same old shortages, long lines and limited supply with long order waits when do you finally overcome the same nonsense?
Why not push it back 2-3 weeks or a month and be prepared and stocked up? Over a month or more wait? Really?
Is a multi billion dollar company as big as Apple that hard to figure out and predict the demand of their product?
Or is there something more behind all these shortages and long lines year after year?

I hope not. I'd be royally pissed if anyone got their phone before and they ordered after me. Bad enough we are behind ATT and VZW

I don't think that's the case at all. I upgraded using JOD with rep on 9/9 at 3:09 EST. estimated delivery of 9/19-9/26 hasn't changed.

Apple's fiscal year ends in September. They won't be pushing the launch back and have every incentive to sell as many as possible.

I just saw this on my account online. I ordered the 7 Plus 128GB Matte Black at 12:27 AM EST on 09/09. My estimated shipping date has always been 09/19-09/26.

This new order just popped up on my account and shows the estimated shipping as 09/16-09/21. When I click "More Details" it shows that this order was placed on 09/15. I just did straight EIP and no trade ins.

The original order still shows with the same dates as before.

Anyone have any idea what this is?

Let me get this straight.

You want Apple to release the phone one month late just to spite those people who are getting their phones before you?

You either wait a month under this system or you wait a month while Apple hasn't released the phone anyway. Either case, you'll be getting your phone at the same time.

I anticipate them eliminating the preorder system entirely before they push the release back a month. That's an entire month where people aren't buying the last-gen phone. It makes no sense for Apple to do this.

Apple's fiscal year ends in September. They won't be pushing the launch back and have every incentive to sell as many as possible.

Not sure how they count their fiscal year or sales figures. Ok so if you can't push up the release why not be better prepared, stocked up and ready to go and learn by your shortages and issues you faced since 2007?
In other words is it nit possible to be better prepared for a release or does every year has to be the same fiasco and 1-2 month wait to get your hands on the new device?
Some retail stores got 2-3 phones on launch day, Apple stores received no iPhone 7 plus models to sell and much more craziness that doesn't make much sense for a company of that caliber.
So what you're saying it's impossible to predict demand or improve this broken way of iPhone release year after year?
