Carrier iPhone 7/7+ T-Mobile Pre-Order Thread

I just saw this on my account online. I ordered the 7 Plus 128GB Matte Black at 12:27 AM EST on 09/09. My estimated shipping date has always been 09/19-09/26.

This new order just popped up on my account and shows the estimated shipping as 09/16-09/21. When I click "More Details" it shows that this order was placed on 09/15. I just did straight EIP and no trade ins.

The original order still shows with the same dates as before.

Anyone have any idea what this is?

It is your trade-in shipping package. That's the date you'll receive it.

I want them to be better prepared for once.
And if for example they need more time then announce the device and release them when you are ready to meet the demand.
Common sense. No?
I'm announcing and releasing a device and people get excited and want to purchase it but I don't have any 7 plus models to sell and I don't have that new jet black either.
You don't see anything wrong with this picture?

The fastest way for you to get your phone is if they release sooner, period.

Some retail stores got 2-3 phones on launch day, Apple stores received no iPhone 7 plus models to sell and much more craziness that doesn't make much sense for a company of that caliber.
So what you're saying it's impossible to predict demand or improve this broken way of iPhone release year after year?

I agree that I think they should have pushed back the release date a week or two until they had a chance to at least manufacture the first wave of shipments for the plus models. Unless they had some sort of last minute problem that we don't know about and they weren't able to manufacture them.

Don't think it's return package for trade in. I also ordered a matte black 128 gb Iphone 7 for my daughter which arrived this past Friday the 16th. No trade in return pack came. I called tmo and am dropping it off to store on Tuesday. Btw I ordered both phones at same time.

You either wait a month under this system or you wait a month while Apple hasn't released the phone anyway. Either case, you'll be getting your phone at the same time.

I anticipate them eliminating the preorder system entirely before they push the release back a month. That's an entire month where people aren't buying the last-gen phone. It makes no sense for Apple to do this.

Lol:) just right across the Black Sea huh? Sure just take an evening swim. Not good at geography much? Huh
How about trying a bordering country such as poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Moldova or Russia? A European Union country will have more western products available and would be easier for a Ukranian citizen to travel to and from;)

That year after year it's the same botched iPhone release nonsense?
And that it cannot improve?
 
Talking with a Tmobile rep. She is saying my ship date is 10/10. The guy yesterday said it was gonna be 9/27. What the hell are they charging me for if they haven't shipped my phone??? She is saying the charge is not an actual charge, and will only go through once the device ships. Yet this **** is showing up on my bank statement.

ETA: As I am talking more, I am realizing she has no ****ing clue what's going on.

Does anyone think my shipping date will change? I'm in Arizona ordered the 7+ 32 go Matte black

None of them do. Every Rep is going to give a different answer.

of course not- but when was the last time apples preorder numbers were less than 3 million?
they sold 10Million during the the iPhone 6 launch weekend as well- and that was the year when they introduced the plus series.

Apple saw an opportunity with the Note 7 fiasco and pushed the release a week- but they say, any press is good press, phones have a 2-3 week waiting time = apple is selling a lot - at least thats how some people read the headlines

Gets that if preorders go a month, you are still waiting a month vs preorders for a week, and it take three weeks to get you your phone, you've still waited a month. The only difference is everyone's sense of entitlement is still in tact in your scenario.

I've been lurking here since the forum opened. I ordered the 7+ MB 128gb around 10am est. My delivery date is 9/27-10/10.

Well I logged on to pretend I was adding a new line and it says estimated delivery 9/19-9/26

Might be some hope. I'm trying to upload pic but it says file too big.
