Oh geez. I have received some hate-filled private messages about my "Time to Relax" post above. Folks, I am participating in this thread because I am waiting on my T-Mobile iPhones to arrive to. My post was meant to inject some humor and relaxation as we all wait. It's a shame that some people are so wound up that they can't see the humor in my post and would rather curse me instead. There's no need to act like a rabid animal.

I'm with you. I'm still waiting for my 7+ to ship. The sky is not falling! I am not in an uproar. I am not calling T-Mobile every 10 minutes! I will live! People do need to chill out on here. It's ridiculous. I would be embarrassed if I was behaving like that. Hate away.

Question - If I buy an AT&T version from my local apple store will it work with tMobile or is it locked to AT&T?

it will be locked to at&t but you can get the phone unlocked instantly if you buy the phone outright

It is locked to AT&T like t-mobile is locked to itself.

Yeah, every carrier but Verizon gets dodgy when it comes to purchasing handsets, even at MSRP.

Look guys Tmobile is the third largest carrier so they get less share of iPhone than the other two plus apple getting most of it first. It's not tmobiles fault that apple is making a hype here with slowly releasing the phone to the public to gain stocks, they know thier competition note 7 is cripple right now so they know they can do this with ease. I know for the fact that apple have these pre ordered phone in stock but take advantage to gain thier stock with all the hype. Tmobile and othe carrier will do thier best to not lose a customer but apple is the one that screwing us.

I don't agree with this at all. The fact is you can estimate how many preorders you get, but you have no way of knowing what you will get. You can make 6 million phones right away and hope they are all sold. You have to see what's trending. I just read the Plus is outselling the non-Plus for the first time.

I am JOD customer for 7+ Black 128Gb estimated to ship 9/27 - 10/10

Just got this too... was wondering what it was all about, looks like they may have stuck us on a protection plan that I (at least) declined... ugh, don't want to call them and ask about it yet.

That text is usually on for people with the regular jump, the $12 monthly option that includes insurance

That's odd I had declined extra coverage\protection\insurance on my T-Mobile it shows
"Due monthly$28.00
$28.00 x 18/mo. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due."

Yes, sadly they were storing both new iPhone 7's as well as returned Note 7's. It didn't end well.
