So, just got off the phone with the first knowledgeable rep I could talk to.

Long story short: I have a recalled Note 7 and I'm JoD. I was going to exchange it for the 7+. When I pre-ordered the iPhone 7+, the rep who placed the order said the way to do this was to order it as a jump on my other line, and then exchange my Note 7, they'll clear it off, and call T-Mobile and they'll move the phone over to my current number. Since then, I've been receiving tons of emails to submit my Note 7 back for the recall. After two unsuccessful trips to T-Mobile stores, I finally called their recall hotline.

When I was connected, the rep immediately told me that I could get a loaner phone until my iPhone came in. She wasn't sure why they put it under my other line since they could easily of handled this as a typical jump on my current line and then just waived the jump.

Anyway, while I was on the phone, I mentioned my shipping timeframe and she agreed they are all back ordered pretty bad. However, I asked her if she could see if my shipping timeline was still 9/19-9/26 and she told me that my ship date is scheduled on their system for 9/26. I know a few others have mentioned this as well, but just wanted to help provide some info. So looks like it's next week for me. She definitely said NOT to cancel even for another color. Oh well, at least I won't have to worry about anything with the Note 7 since they gave me a loaner for the week. Hope this helps even if it's possibly bad news. I'm disappointed, but the phone will get here when it gets here. Having the loaner device for a few days will make the new iPhone seem like a rocket ship comparatively when i get it.

My co-worker got this from sprint...

Funny. You not getting your phone now was what kicked off your entire argument, and you blamed the pre-order process, Apple's supply chain, their planning, etc, etc. It's very easy to be the armchair quarterback when you're not the one in the game. But ok, you don't mind waiting... Great!

And I was just having a discussion as well, and was voicing my opinion, which differed from yours. And that's fine, as our opinions don't have to agree, but the fact that you think your opinion is not an opinion, but "the truth" as you call it, really says it all...

To be honest, it really doesn't matter to me how upset you get. I'm perfectly happy waiting for my iP7. If it comes sooner, then great. If it takes a few weeks, no big deal, I just keep using my perfectly functioning iP6s+. Hopefully, you get yours soon too.

I agree. People need to realize that for every unit they make and don't sell, they lose money. They have no way of knowing how many people are going to order what model. There's 30 different combinations (7, 7+, Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, Black, Jet Black, 32GB, 128GB, 256GB) and that doesn't include carrier specific models. They can make projections, but you can't make more units than you sell. It's simple Business 101.

I ordered the 7+ Silver 256GB. It was the model I wanted and thought it would probably be the one that sells the least amount of units. Maybe Apple thought that too and made less (which would make sense). Maybe I was wrong and it is more popular than I thought. I haven't had any movement since day 1, and although I hope I get it this week, it is not the end of the world if I don't.

At the end of the day, people just need to chill out.

I've been checking this thread since preorder day... Ordered my 3 MB 7+'s (32/128GB) @ 4:30AM EST and still got ship dates of all 9/27-10/10... Anyone thinking it's likely they'll hopefully ship by Friday the latest? :( I'm starting to lose hope tbh. I can't deal with my **** 6 Plus for much longer. This 16GB storage is awful and I can't even take snapchats anymore... And my brother's 6 Plus has been stuck on "Searchin..." so his is basically bricked like an iPod....

If only I could deal with Sprint's 3G all up and down the Phoenix area. Hmmmmm...
I gave up on sprint last year and switched to tmo, not only was their voice/data coverage/speed hideous, their customer service was non-existent. ALSO, IIRC if you were doing anything with data it would stop/drop if you received or made a phone call. I can't tell you the number of times I tried to use maps to guide someone in only to have sprint drop the call or the data. Useless.

Doubt it. I have a 9/19-9/26 ship date and I haven't been charged and my order status still says processing. The + is outselling the 7 so you probably have a long wait ahead of you :(

placed my order for 2 7+ 32 gig 1 rose gold 1 black

my wife received her rose gold before the launch date ... mines still in limbo ...
I have the exact same issue... same phone styles and everything. Wife got hers in mail on Friday; and me.... twiddling thumbs....

I ordered a 32 gb 7+ matte black at 3:30 est. I would have to assume im somewhat towards the front of the line, god knows. The guy who took my order said i was the second person he helped. Im 9/19-9/26. I broke my iphone 6 a couple days before 9/6 and i have an HTC desire for meantime. Possibly the worst phone ive had since the Razer. Im praying that i get the new phone in the next couple days. Seeing my status change from Processing to Shipped would be such a relief. If i hear anything ill be sure to post.

Just got my UPS email again. iPhone 7 Plus - Matte Black 32 GB is ready for pickup.

Good luck to everyone waiting but T-Mobile is indeed working hard!!

I don't see many reasons to complain about not getting a phone before the estimated shipping date that they give you, but when someone (no disrespect to TechGuy1530, you're lucky) pre-orders their phone a 4pm EST on launch day when I ordered the same make and model at 7am EST launch day... Why does he get his phone already and I have yet to see any movement other than order processing?

I don't think anyone is asking them to make 200 million phones for launch. Do you really think they would make too many for launch and not sell them for the lifespan of the 7? Seems a little crazy. Of course they will sell whatever they make right now. There is an enormous backlog. People who ordered the first moment pre-orders went live haven't gotten their phones. That's botching the situation in my eyes. If I went to a store right now and couldn't get a phone? Sure. No reason to be upset.

Just going to have to patiently wait for a week or two I suppose.
