Lol :D
Keep making excuses. Yes, a company like Apple cannot project sales so they dont have any Jet black devices for sale or iphone 7 plus models in order not to make too many or get stuck with unsold product. LMAO :D
Nothing wrong with this process and they should not be held accountable for anything.
Keep drinking the koolaid.
Everything is nice and dandy:D

It's not Koolaid. Maybe you need to study up on the theory of supply and demand.

Just to play devils advocate its not a supply or demand problem its a quantity problem. Apple should have used the pre-order process (demand) to create a more accurate quantity to supply the demand. My only suggestion is create a pre-order a few weeks sooner to give more time to build the demanded numbers. Then again there is the whole game of creating small supply of said product to induce a spike in demand. Like many people have stated with other devices and fashion especially.

That could work, in theory. Then people would be pissed off that they have to pre-order a phone six months before the first unit is shipped.

It's simply and demand. It starts there.

Currently speaking with a T-Mobile rep, apparently my 9/19-9/26 estimated ship date is false and the earliest the 128gb JB will arrive is 11/1...

Not sure how knowledgeable this rep is because I really thought the estimated ship dates on T-Mobile's site were for people who did NOT pre-order.

Ha! I ordered that same one. UPS lost it on delivery day and I had to reorder it. Thankfully Amazon sent it for free and next day air.

It's been established that the reps are just repeating the ship dates as if you were placing the order that very moment. Your original preorder estimate trumps that date. No need to keep calling them.

I'm actually chatting with them online, not calling, and this is the first time I've done it since the iPhone 6 release, which was the worst I've experienced. At the rate the Matte blacks are shipping, they haven't even reached 128GB for the blacks alone which is why i'm doubtful for the Jet Blacks. Just wanted closure before I stop stalking this thread.

We can make that happen. Standby

it's simple:

If you call customer service and they give you an answer you don't like, call back and talk to another rep until they tell you what you want to hear. Once you hear what you want, hang up and post that information here.....:eek::eek:

hahahahahah

T-Mobile customer service every time another person calls about shipping dates...

I don't see many reasons to complain about not getting a phone before the estimated shipping date that they give you, but when someone (no disrespect to TechGuy1530, you're lucky) pre-orders their phone a 4pm EST on launch day when I ordered the same make and model at 7am EST launch day... Why does he get his phone already and I have yet to see any movement other than order processing?

None taken. I was really surprised about the movement because the original ship date was 10/11.

Sorry you have to continue waiting. It really needs to be first come, first serve like it usually has been.

Seems instead of getting better, Apple et. al seem to be getting worse at handling the logistics behind iPhone Day shipping.

I talked to T mobile wrap around 4 o'clock eastern time, and she told me that T-Mobile expects to get phones of my kind, which is a 7+ Matt black 256 GB phone sometime on Wednesday. Giant grain of salt I know, my original and current expected ship time is between today September 19 and next Monday, September 26. I hope everyone gets their phone soon!
