Tmo phone rep is trying to tell me that all phones with a Nov ship date will arrive on launch day... yeeeeeeeeeeah right

I just made an order a few minutes ago and it says my estimated ship date is october. Maybe because I got the silver and noone else wants the silver really lol.

JOD system was super messed up, finally got an order through tonight, Nov. ship date. Canceled, ordered black instead.I opted for the Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus 128GB model. I noticed that all the other colors had earlier shipping times, but I guess I'm just gonna have to deal with a November estimated time to receive mine. Here's to hoping Apple increases their units in the next few weeks *fingers crossed*

Ordered iPhone 7 Plus in Black with 128 GB of storage over the phone (opted to do equipment installment plan). Spoke with a rep the previous day who was kind enough to give me a call right after 3:01 a.m. here in NY.
Received the email to sign the equipment agreement at 3:35 a.m.
Received copy of signed equipment agreement at 3:39 a.m.
Thank you for your order email received at 4:03 a.m. with estimated ship date between 9/19-9/26.
We shall see!
Also communicated with @TMobileHelp via Twitter DM and found out I can trade in my iPhone 6s Plus with 64 GB of storage after I receive my new phone. See screenshot of their message about that!
Should I be worry? Went to do trade-in in-store at 6pm est, paid up front 150$+tax got only 1 email that said I did brought in my iphone6 to trade-in value 165$. No any confirmation email that I have to submit?
This is exactly what I ended up doing and will do it again in the future. Initially I was TRYING to order at 330am customer service was taking my order when the system went down. She then says. I will call you back in 30 mins. It's over 24 hours now and no call back. Glad I went to the store insteadwalked into T Mobile store at 10am (slept in, no reason to camp the computer). Signed up, 7+ Black, 128. 9/27-10/10 ship date. No issue with this at all..... what seems to be the issue/
So I have an email, text however I cannot see the order online. I did call 611 and said order status and it gave me my order and it says it's processing. My order also didn't start with "S0" but then again I didn't use my Jump
This happens every year. They have to give rough estimates on the dates because apple is creating a "hype" for these new phones. They will not tell what and how many of each item each carrier is getting. They are in the dark till they open the shipments from china in their depot in Kentucky before they get dispersed out to us. They have to be cautious what they're promising their customers so they pick these safety net estimated dates. I always have something crazy down then get the phone the release day.
They're trying to make it sound EXTRA rare to get these phones, so people get all OMG I WANT TO Order ONE TOO Because its coveted. Yeah some might end up being a week or two late but most often those people ordered 3-4 days too late.
They aren't doing jump/jod priority this year. Last year they put all the jump customers infront of regular customers and that caused a giant order system mess. Exec team who did my order for me today explained all that **** and confirmed it.
Make sure you put an alert on your cards because when you get charged you physically have a phone in the states and assigned to you. Usually you get a tracking number a day later. Thats how I know where my order is every time.

So I was told my order "canceled itself out" when I first pre-ordered at midnight. I then spoke with 5 different reps, all giving me different information and prices (the history showed I had like 10 orders trying to get processed). I had the same issue last year with the 6s plus, so I tweeted at tmobile and John Legere multiple times w/screenshots of my convo's with reps from last year - just to let them know they were failing again this year. I got a call from one of their "special" reps (2:30ish ct), and helped process my order. Everything was "magically" working again. I asked if I would still be able to get my phone on launch since they screwed it up. He went on to tell me how they have "special" ways of taking care of these situations and guaranteed I'd have it on launch day...
EIP came 20 min ago - I ordered the Black plus 128gb and have the shipping dates 9/19 -9/26. So we will see...
I just pre-ordered 7 they said to bring 6 back when I come pick up 7 in- store.So at this stage you just pre-ordered with an EID. Is there any form to fill to let them know we will trade an older iPhone when we receive the iPhone 7? Don't want them to claim after that I missed the promotion "window" without securing the trade in... And don't want to give my iPhone 6 without having received the 7 since I will have no phone in the meantime...

The downfall is, if yo owe 200 dollars, you can't pay it off early, or it will cancel this promo and you will loose you credits.I will probably get some hate for asking this, but why did people call in the middle of the night? Seems like everybody will be getting shipped in the same time frame?
I also don't understand the anger over paying money up front. In the end I will be getting a $900+ phone for about $200 total including taxes. That's a good deal imo.

Honestly I'll give T-Mobile a break here. I think most people including myself thoughtClearly Apple jumped the gun, decided to go ahead with pre-orders even though the Jet Black isn't ready for full-on production. Either that or t-mobile only gets so many of them. I ordered early this morning got 11/1-11/30 ship date.

the Matte Black would sell more. Well because the jet black will be a finger print magnet and will scratch very easy, and be more slippery. Especially when so many talk alot of crap about how the Galaxy S7 edge is all those thing as well.

Well I called because you never know with Apple. They could have lots of supply or shortages. If I didn't care about the color or that it was a Plus model I would not have waited up. But I just can't do the regular 7 and only really wanted the Matte Black, I don't like the white bezel the black bezels more look inconspicuous and help when watching videos for me.I will probably get some hate for asking this, but why did people call in the middle of the night?
