I use iCloud as a worst case scenario. Downloading everything from the cloud is great but it's just much quicker doing a back up and restore through iTunes
I never connect my iPhone to my computer. I prefer auto backup without me thinking about it. That said, clearly that is processor intensive and causing the iPhone to hiss.
 
Signed my EIP at 2:54 AM EST on 9/9 and still see absolutely nothing about my JB other than processing no CC charge no shipping jack ****
 
Has anyone got their phone the day they got their tracking #? Because UPS says I will get the phone today, without any information where the actual shipment is at. I think this is because the shipment is Overnight and the label was created the day before the tracking # was given...

Well, just finally got off the phone with the supervisor from T-Mo. Bottom line is that after they told me that I had to split up my iPhone order (to get one now while I wait on the other) and that I would absolutely not lose my place in line. Well, I did in fact lose my place in line and there is nothing they can do to change that.

My new estimated shipping date for the 7+ 128 GB Black is now Dec 1-15. Un****ingbelieveable. They did give me a $59 credit on my monthly phone bill for the inconvenience. But when you think about it, we're talking 3 months from now to get the phone and that basically makes me keep the iPhone an additional 3 months if I want to realize the full value of the trade-in promo they are offering since those credits are spread out across 24 months. So even with a token $59 credit, T-Mobile is still coming out ahead.

Thanks to their broken promise, I will now be the last one standing in this thread as I wait up to 3 months for my iPhone.

128 GB 7+ JET BLACK CH-CH-CH-CHARGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ordered 9/9 via Exec Team who had me sign EIP around 9:30 am EST. So either they really did prioritize it, or they got in a dandy shipment, perhaps along the lines of previous poster about the expectations.

May be worth a shot contacting John or Art Lucero on Twitter? Given the various vines of communication in T-Mo, hard telling if it will work, but guess it couldn't hurt? I think somebody posted the generic exec response email address as well?

I did the Twitter thing initially and John was part of the Tweet but nothing came from it. I sent an email to them a few days ago and have not heard back. I appreciate the response. I may not have put the exec team on the email and may have instead just used John. Perhaps I should forward?
 
no charges for me yet, IP+ MB 32gb ordered 9/9 at 3.44, EIP signed around 10, 9/27 - 10/10 estimated hsipping. Still shows "being processed"

Meanwhile my current phone decided to give up on me and now I need to waste money on a pre paid phone or cancel my order and just get whatever is in store. great.

I always have my I cloud backup on don't get me wrong. But whenever I transfer phones I just do it through iTunes. I just transferred my whole backup and up and running took 15 mins to move 40 gbs of data
 
Those of you doing the trade up offer did they send you a shipping label to send your phone back or are you doing it in store?
 
Ugh, I literally canceled my 256GB Jet Black Plus preorder earlier this morning. because i was so fed up at waiting for T-Mobile. Just reordered it..
 
Well if both you and phantom5251 were prioritized by the exec team, I may not be lucky then today. After my many calls and emails, I received no reassurance or assistance despite the issue being solely on T-Mobile's side.

aw I'm with you on this. No one seemed to give a Damn for me.
