T-Mobile has confirmed that even though my phone was charged on Friday and I have a shipping label and tracking number that my order did NOT ship yet...they are saying HOPEFULLY tomorrow as they are still showing some phones still on backorder. That puts me in my original shipping window. Maybe all of us charged on Friday will have our phones tomorrow! I can tell you I will NEVER preorder anything again from T-Mobile, I have never had any issues before with Sprint who I was with for over 14 years. I know that I am getting my phone (hopefully) in my delivery window but this whole preorder has just been so messy and sloppy and just a pain in the butt! Good luck to all of you.


You said in a previous post that your original ship date was 9/27 - 10/10. Why are you so pissed off and feel so entitled?

this explains why i have yet to receive any emails or texts from tmobile confirming anything about my order. *deep sigh
I have received a text from T-Mobile about my order shipping yesterday. Last night to be exact. So now on my T-Mobile it says that my order has shipped, so I am hoping that they will get it in the hands of UPS today. That will mean delivery expected tomorrow

I think it's the fact that Tmobile only charges your CC when it ships. But it seems that the iPhones haven't really shipped yet for a bunch of people who were charged on Friday. Just shipping label and nothing else.

I ordered on 9/9 at 3.44AM (ET) and I have not been charged (same phone). I would not be expecting to be charged for a while with your shipping date, the phones are back ordered and they are struggling to fulfill those with Nov. shipping dates first :( but who knows? Maybe they'll get a huge shipping and deliver super early for you, wouldn't bet on it tho.

I'll admit, I have complained on here about not getting my phone promptly, but yes I am in the same shipping group as you. My experience with Big Red during iPhone launches had spoiled me. I was used to getting phones on Launch day as I had previously. But so far, as long as my phone ships today, I should be okay.

It is rather annoying that people in 9/27-?? group are complaining about "OMG WHERE MY PHONE AT?!!" And EVEN MORE ANNOYING are the November groups saying "Do you guys think I'm gonna get charged soon? I really want my phone asap! (Even though I didn't order til the 12th I want my phone now, what's taking so long?)

Ordered 9/9 @7pm sign EIP 12pm 9/10. November dates. Still waiting MB32+ no updates on anything.
 
Seems like a lot of people who got charged on Friday and received tracking # on Sat, did not really have their phones shipped out yet. Just shipping label created. I know my tracking status hasn't changed at all. Just in transit to UPS. No estimated delivery date. I had to check My UPS. I wonder if Tmobile did this intentionally just to placate the 9/19 to 9/26 group. Tmobile probably doesn't even have the phones yet. Little do they know, a charge and tracking # without any movement to us die hard fans means nothing. It only makes us more impatient.

They are merely placeholders dates and have no bearing with actual estimates. These are just autogenerated dates by SAP system. Either ways T-Mobile is still well within that window for most of us. But this is missing the point.

We, at least I, am pissed off because of the messed up way T-Mobile has handled this entire process. The information differs from one rep to another. If my phone is going to be here on 10/10, fine, tell me THAT. Are people getting prioritized? Of course not, we ship first come first serve. Well guess what, doesn't look like that! How do I return my trade-in phone? You can drop it off at a T-Mobile store. No you have to mail it in. Well, which is it? Can I get my credit applied to EIP? Yes, of course. No, you can't, we can't change how credit system works. Can I still upgrade without switching to ONE plan? No you have to swith to the new plan now. Actually, no I you don't have to switch and can still upgrade.

Every single question had at least TWO conflicting answers. And this is not limited to this forum only. Companies mess up, reps screw up, things go wrong but there's a degree to what is acceptable. This is far beyond that for me.

I think it's probably reasonable for people to expect that a day-of preorder reasonably early in the day be shipped within 10 days following the release date. We don't get to look behind the curtain to see what caused this, but I'm super disappointed in TMO for this situation. My folks ordered on 9/16 from another carrier and got their phones (including one identical to mine) and got them within 4 days. Meanwhile I "pre-ordered" 17 days ago and still haven't been charged.

Someone who "pre-ordered" early the opening day has every justification to be irritated when they don't have their item 11 days after general release when you can walk into the Apple Store and buy the same thing.

Like you indicated, many of us have been spoiled by much better launch experiences, and it's not unreasonable to expect good product availability, customer service, and communication.

Dude you ordered at 9am. Some people who ordered literally the minute after preorder haven't seen things. So you have a bit of a wait brother.

well that sucks if that's the case. bc from what i was told and what i've read they only take your money when your device has been shipped

Based on the recent movements, your 128gb appears to be moving. I am sure you're next in line for cards to be charged. I haven't seen anyone post any 32gb MB from T-Mobile yet. (Especially anyone who ordered on 9/10).

I think it's the fact that Tmobile only charges your CC when it ships. But it seems that the iPhones haven't really shipped yet for a bunch of people who were charged on Friday. Just shipping label and nothing else.

And there is nothing wrong with that. At all. It happens. Sometimes there is a delay between label creation and the origin scan. Not always, but sometimes. It's just the way it is.

The guy he was responding to, was acting upset because he already had a label, had been charged, but hadn't had his phone shipped/delivered yet. Even though his "shipping" estimate doesn't start till tomorrow. I mean that's just, are you kidding me type thing.

The only people who feel like Tmo & Apple did something wrong, are "usually" people who are extremely anxious, or have some serious OCD issues. Of course, there are a few cases of Tmo screwing up someone's order, or someone who ordered 1 min after midnight, getting their's after someone who orderd at 5pm that eve....but that's not the norm. Not at all. Though the chicken little crowd would have you believe the sky is falling, when they feel wronged.

There is some guy on here who's shipping estimate isn't until November....yet he's on here everyday to make sure everyone knows, he hasn't been charged yet. And he makes sure people know how upset he is about it. Lolz. Just wow.
