It's been offically now a week since I ordered my iPhone MB+ 128GB. Has anyone seen anybody who ordered it at this time who's already been charged? Also, has anybody seen a 11/15/16 - 12/12/16 shipping date? Thanks.

Anyone know why it is that whoever got charged on Friday or Saturday afternoon and had their label created Saturday or Sunday morning got origin scans for delivery today while I'm still at "Ready for UPS" ?

Only a week ago? yeah, i don't think you should expect to see any updates until maybe next week (and that's a big maybe). Then again, who knows how tmobile is really handling the "line". Anyways, lots of MB 128gb around here with 9/9 order date that have no updates :( it sucks i know. I ordered my IP+ MB 32gb at 3:44am on the 9th and no updates at all since (and honestly not expecting anything until maybe the end of this week :( ).

I ordered mine on the 13th and I got a later shipping date than you guys?

Wow. Lesson learned. Never pre-order through T-Mobile ever again.

That is strange. I had been watching the delivery dates for any 128+. When I saw the silver with a reasonable delivery window, I jumped on it. The other colors were in Oct or Nov.

if that's your shipping dates, good luck getting any movement soon. i preordered my jb on 9/9, nothing as of this post, shipping dates 11/01-11/30

FYI guys... it is best just switch SIM cards. Save the pre-installed SIM for a rainy day. T-Mobile charges $20 a pop for SIM cards... even if it is related to a technical issue (like SIM card going bad). I keep saving any free unused SIM I get. (Remember... save UNUSED SIM cards. Once used, they can never be used again. )

Sim cards expire as well so watch out for that, but other wise totally agree with you.

I just got a new Sim card for free. She didn't even mention a charge. It probably helped that I walked in angry because I hate that I have so many issues and have to go to the store. If you ever need a new SIM card, just try that trick.
True... I guess YMMV. I was just in a T-Mobile store last week turning in my kids' 6s phones for JOD (They got their 7+ before mine came in)... there was a guy in there who was having network issues and he was told by T-Mobile on the phone that he needed a new SIM card. They made him pay for it. Then a couple days later... I was getting a little impatient so I tried to buy a 7+ through iUP at the Apple Store and got denied... but the Apple employee had already deactivated my SIM card, so she went to the back and got a new T-Mobile SIM (for free at that!) but her system was having issues activating it. So I took it to the T-Mobile store (across the isle at the mall) and the rep REFUSED to activate it because "She couldn't be sure where it came from" and that I would need to buy one from her for $20. I was livid... the chick is an idiot... a T-Mobile SIM is a T-Mobile SIM... and they all originate from T-Mobile. I called customer care and they had wait times of 1 hour and 5 mins! So I went home and a T-Mobile Chat rep activated it for me. I am so done with T-Mobile. Like I said... I never had this many issues during an iPhone launch and always got it on launch day when I was with AT&T. You have so many more options to upgrade with the other companies (Carrier Store, Apple Store, Apple Online Store, Best Buy, Target, Walmart). With T-Mobile... you have to go through T-Mobile... and as you can see... they ABSOLUTELY SUCK!

There's a MB + available and I'm really tempted to get it with the iPhone upgrade program - but do you guys know if that will get rid of my JoD?

Are you sure it's worth it now? First you have to upgrade to ONE plan and secondly, you have to pay $100/$200 up front PLUS trade in your phone. This is basically back to carrier contract era but even worse actually if you think about it.

In contact era, if your carrier changed plan, you had the right to terminate the contract without paying the ETF since the terms had changed. So things like billing price hikes and other changes would work in your favor. But now, because those two are not related, you have no say. I honestly, feel at this point, it's better to get it directly from Apple on their installment plan or full upfront. (You can enroll in IUP and then cancel AppleCare+. This will prevent you from being able to upgrade but your monthly payment will effectively be the same as other carriers).

Note: If you switch plans, your remaining balance on the phone becomes due.

iPhone 7 Offer: For well qualified customers. Plus taxes & fees; tax on full price due at sale. Get 32GB model iPhone 7 for $100 or iPhone 7+ for $220 (w/ iPhone 6S or 6S+ trade-in) after bill credits applied in monthly installments on a 24-month finance agreement as long as you remain on the T-Mobile ONE plan.

Just my 2 cents! ;)

My iPhone is out for delivery...but question: I've always done the restore from backup with every iPhone. Does anyone see a benefit to doing a clean install? What do I lose? What will still be there?

Wow, so early into the grief process that is not getting a phone. It sucks. Some in this thread are going on 3 weeks. It's ridiculous.

I know, I ordered the morning of 9/9, and still no charge or ship notification, and I didn't even order the unicorn jet black, just the plain matte black!

I'm going to be setting mine up as new. Just turn on your iCloud photo library and make sure all your contacts/calendars/notes etc are stored in iCloud. Sign into your apple ID after setup and turn on the photo library again. At that point, you'll only be missing your text messages and call logs/voicemails. Your apps are in your purchase history so you'll have to re download them, but you don't have to purchase them again.

I actually already switched to the ONE plan because I liked the unlimited hotspot option. Thanks for the info, I think I'll just wait it out to get my phone from T-Mobile so I can keep my JOD. I have a feeling soon I'll want to use an upgrade for more GB.

You will certainly lose your Health data, for one. And all of the little settings for things like sounds, notifications, folder and icon arrangement, background photos, etc. The Health data alone is enough for me to restore from backup.

As far as benefits to a clean install? Maybe shorter time to actually use your device? Those restores take FOREVER, especially via iCloud.

Does anyone not have a hissing sound? Those who have a 7 plus? Mine is actually pretty bad. I'm not happy. I called apple, they are going to see what my options are.
