First time posting in this thread

I ordered 9/7 at 10am when my local store opened- 128gb Black 7 Plus

My shipping says 9/27-10/10 but I've seen other people posting in this thread saying their dates are earlier even after purchasing on 9/8

Is there any chance these dates aren't quite accurate just yet or is it typically accurate to the dates given?

How? Preorders didn't start until 9/9.

Well I was thinking this would be easy to do online however I couldn't find the trade in offer at the moment of the pre-order. This is why I went to a T-Mobile store and the rep said it was too late to add the trade to my iPhone 7 pre-order and he had to cancel and put a new order for me. So I'm definitively not the right person to answer. What I know is that you don't return the phone to a store and you have to send it somewhere else. The Rep told me they don't manage the trade offer and you can't make a store pick up for the new iPhone neither ..
I was told a return package will arrive with my 7 Plus to send my 6s Plus back in.

At the iPhone hacks section.

I'm pretty sure what they told you at the local tmobile store is a bunch of bs.
tmobiles reps are telling everyone not to worry and just order now and process the free trade up offer later once the phone arrives. Many different phone and chat reps also told me I can drop off the trade in devices at a local tmobile store.

Correct

For who were able to do the trade in...Did you do tradein online? Did it ask in the end which EIP(order) you want tradein balance to apply to?

for my first two tradein which I did online, it never ask which EIP (order) I want my balance to apply to.

Just now for my 3rd order and trade in online, at the last step it showed very first EIP number (for which I already did trade in yesterday) and asked if I want to apply tradein credit for this EIP or one time bill credit.

Their trade in site is messed up.

Hey folks, keep in mind the cost of the phone will be net $0 over 24 months, instead of $0/mo. You will get the trade-in value upfront (for example, $195 for a 6 plus) and then will pay back the $195 over 24 months to make the net cost zero. In this case, you'd pay $195/24 a month, or $8.13. If you did a $650 EIP, that would be $27.09 a month with no credits, or $27.09-$8.13 = $18.96/mo in credits.

If you pay your EIP off early, the credits stop! Keep that in mind if you apply your trade-in credit to the EIP. In my example above, applying the trade-in would reduce the EIP to 17 months instead of 24. But after 17 months, you'll have paid a net $8.13*17 = $138.21 for the phone.

But other people
Said once you get your new phone that you can trade in the phone at the store instead of mailing it...

I just got charged for my preorder of a black 32GB iPhone 7. I'm not sure how well we'll be able to track the shipments ahead of time since it looks like the phones are being shipped the day before launch day.

There wait time on chat earlier was up to 20+ minutes, so it may take some time to get them on the phone.
I seem to have called India, I can't make heads or tails of what this guy is saying. They've only got 5 orders instead of the six I made according to the automated system. Meanwhile back with the guy in India I still have no idea what he's saying and he clearly doesn't understand me. ARGH! I guess I'll call back and try to get someone stateside.

Yeah seems like us 128gb Plus people aren't having any luck -_-

Read this over and over and makes little sense to me. Why would I pay back the credit for the phone? Maybe I am just not understanding what your saying.
