Thanks for re-stating my post--you captured what I was trying to say.

That's what I would have initially assumed, because t-mobile's billing system is always a mess so computing the credit amount seems like it's going to be too hard for them. But I personally confirmed this is how it will work with T-Force, as did several other people on Reddit.

T-Mobile's own documentation even states you can either take your trade-in credit up front as a bill credit, or apply it as an EIP credit. They are also careful to use the words "net cost" several times.

Ok so which option is best? Apply one time bill credit or roll off to EIP balance.

I don't like paying extra $8.13 or whatever amount back to them.

Anybody got any idea how big the crowds are at tmob retail stores on iPhone release day?
My store is dead. For the 6s there were less than 10 people. Of course, the store also had a severly limited supply- no 6s Plus and no 128GB models. Not having to deal with a crowd was nice, though.

Im going to assume these were going to be under shipped from the get go which is why we all got the 9/19 and after ship dates. Wouldn't be surprised if only Apple.com orders got it on day one.
Hmm

do any of you have experience with trade in tmobile? my iphone has some cosmetic damage (dents and scratches) but those do not affect the function of the phone. but i am worried that they will deny the trade. i have been told by a rep from tmobile that if i got deny the trade, i can say bye to the bill credit that i am supposed to get.

I recently traded in a iPhone 6 with scratches on the back.. They were fine with it and just checked the screen for cracks and made sure the phone worked.

All my fellow 7+ folks freaking out about nobody in here seeing any movement....RELAX lol. It's as simple as this: they don't have their shipments in yet. We'll see a bunch of cards being charged and shipping notices going out very soon.

After doing this iPhone thing with TMO since the 5S release, I can say with certainty that most* of us in here will have our phones on release day. When the movement happens, it happens quick.

* = if you bought the Jet Black, you're probably not included in "most". :(

Rol off to EIP balance to pay $0.00 per month, but you'll end up paying more if you decide to upgrade or switch out in less than 2 years.

That's exactly what I asked the corporate office. We went from being the golden child with first priority to me not even getting to place a preorder at all. Oh, and PS, you guys better hope that plane doesn't fly like T-Mobile's preorder system operated.......... Because if it does ITS GONNA CRASH.
If T-Mobile operated the plane? It would never take off. They'd be struggling to figure out which pilot is actually flying the plane because they told four different pilots five different things.

So I ordered mine via T-Mobiles site on launch day but apparently I needed to sign a new EIP? Which I thought I had completed... but then realized I had no pending orders. Long story short I had to reorder today and now will wait until 11/1 - 11/30

I went to local t-mobile store on Friday to help a friend switch, and then I decided to switch from AT&T -finally. I've Been wanting to tell AT&T to go suck on it for a while... My plan has been getting more expensive since I first enrolled with ATT, and I hung aroun cause of their unlimited plan I was grandfathered into. But they suck, it's a slow network, no built in tethering, and expensive...

Anyway, I went in Friday around 5pm...

When did you order?

I ordered 2 x iPhone 7 32GB @ 9/9/16 12:11 AM PST and neither have shipped yet...
