They are also offering $300 for iPhone 6 trade ins. I may do this instead. That way I don't have to worry about paying off next year for a upgrade. Just have to pay the rest up front

If you get this deal can you still do the yearly upgrade thing? Where you trade in next year and upgrade to a new one?

So are we saying they may offer a much higher trade in price for the 6 and 6s?

Edit: Answering my own question...

Wait, whaaaaat... $650 trade-in credit for my iPhone 6s?! Where did you find this??

Next year it should be 50% paid off so yes....but you lose the bill credits for year 2.

Trading in with a $300 credit for your paid off phone...is close to the same deal if you are going to upgrade in a year.

I'm wondering if this still applies if I do the $650 credit thing.

So once it's 50% paid off, next year, you trade in and upgrade to a new one and then you're done with those payments right?

You'll want to be logged in to your Verizon account and it should allow you to preorder it as an upgrade. If you have the full 50% paid off, you'll just have to pay the first month's installment tonight. Any particular concern?

Yup. You can preorder the phone tonight and they send the stuff to return the old phone with the new one.
If I have 46% paid off, can I pay off the remaining 4% during the preorder?

This is what it says on the site right now. Looks like it is for the basic 7 series. And it says that you can get up to $650 in credits depending on the model phone you trade in.

Right... But you would need a paid off device to trade now..,and next year the payments would be back up to $30

The real winners in this are the 6 owners. Best Buy had some 6 16gb last week for $299

As I mentioned earlier, Reddit. But there are some questioning the authenticity of the image.

Verizon is most definitely offering a $650 credit for something, the banner on the front page proves it. But are we getting $650 for our iPhone 6 and 6s? We won't know for sure until Verizon fully updates the site.

The Verizon site is already having some many problems and pre-orders aren't even up yet. I wonder if anyone will even be able to get on to pre-order.

Can I put it towards the purchase of a 128GB 7 Plus? Cause in the fine print it looked like it said only 32gb...I sure hope not

The graphic I uploaded earlier implies it works on all iPhone 7 models...but I can't verify this for sure.

Here's what it says in fine print: "Good towards the purchase of iPhone 7 32GB and iPhone 7 Plus 32GB"
Sigh...
[doublepost=1473393391][/doublepost]Should still get the $300 trade in though, that's still good I guess.

Hmm interesting. Wonder how this will work. They send you the iPhone 7 and you have to send them your trade in phone?

I will be on Apple's site at 3am here on the East Coast reserving my new iPhone 7 Plus. This is the first iPhone I have been able to pre-order. I made the switch to iPhone when the 6 Plus came out, but it took me a month to find the one I wanted due to the shortage after the initial launch in 2014. I used an upgrade on one of my lines earlier in the year to switch to the 6S Plus and gave my 6 Plus to someone else that is on my plan as well. I will be getting the 7 Plus and be giving my 6S Plus to another person on my plan so that we all will be on the iOS ecosystem.

so listen to this crap. I returned the note 7 to best buy today and it says I'm upgrade eligible but then the site says the current phone (dummy phone) doesn't match the one on the contract (note 7 ). Now I have to call in to have a manager bypass it. Was hoping I could just go online but not now...now I gotta call BLAH
[doublepost=1473398697][/doublepost]how many will be calling at 11:55 or 2:55 lol

It's charging me a $20 upgrade fee though.....I thought that's waived??
