Just chiming in to give another experience: I had my order in last month with an ETA of 11/16 (7+, matte black, 128GB). After noticing these posts, I saw that the 256GB 7+ in matte black was showing as in-stock on their site. So I called to switch to the 256GB model from the 128GB one and the guy I talked to promptly cancelled the original order and got me down for the 256GB model. Because of the holiday weekend in the US, it'll be a day later arriving, but I'll have it this Wednesday, rather than another 5 weeks to wait for the lower capacity model.
I did the same thing this morning. Cancelled my 7+ MB 128GB, which had a ship date of 11/23, and then ordered the 256GB version. Looking forward to having the phone middle of this coming week.

YES!! Jet black iPhones are coming 2+ weeks early and arriving left and right..! I've seen a lot more 128GB 7+ phones just sitting... and sitting...
I'm wondering this too.. People keep saying "My iphone set for 11/30 just shipped! Over a monthh early!"

Same deal here. I'm kind of surprised Verizon won't honor the trade-in value for people wishing to adjust their original order, upgrading to a 256gb version. I would have assumed they would prefer to sell a more expensive device and, moreso, a device that they can ship out immediately. Perhaps it's not as straightforward as all that though.
It's so bad, I've maybe seen 2 people on the verizon forums who ordered the same phone as me a day before, get theirs last week. I'm hoping for a miracle of "on or before 10/19." Really hoping for the before...
Gotta chime in here... Ordered 9/17 128gb white/silver estimated delivery date of 10/19. Zero movement. At this rate I'm kind of wondering if it will even be here at their estimated date. I did the trade in also and because we are out of the original promo period, I can't change my order.

I ordered the MB 128gb 7+ on 9/15 from Verizon, and had an anticipated shipping date of 10/26. The shipping date stayed the same until yesterday, when I received an email saying it was preparing for shipment. This morning I got another email saying it had shipped and was in transit from Memphis. Looks like I may get mine a couple weeks earlier than expected. Awesome.
