I'm having major issues with my 2015 Ford Escape with MyFordTouch 3.8. I have a new iPhone 7 Plus. Choppy audio after a few minutes of streaming; sometimes loses connection completely. No issues with previous iPhones.
I've got the same issue with my 2014 F150 with Microsoft Sync. Connects just fine but audio is hit and miss and very choppy. Drives me nuts. 7+ running 10.1b

I don't know if anybody else has noticed this, but I see more skipping right after the phone receives a push notification.
I have noticed this as well as when it disconnects from wifi like when I'm driving away from home. It's like clockwork for me. As soon as I get to the corner of the street it starts stuttering when it loses the wifi connection.
Sometimes audio is fine but most of the time it stutters and it does seem like it's when I get a push notification. Getting very frustrated.

I am seeing this issue on my Bluetooth Starkey hearing aids since upgrading from iOs 9.x to 10.0.2.
Streaming audio (phone calls or other) audio intermittently get choppy with sawtooth-like comb filter distortion (sounds like a buffer overrun for those this experience in audio programming) then Bluetooth connection drop then reestablishes.

For important calls, I now have to disable Bluetooth and crank the volume to hear without my hearing aids.

Need a fix for this...

So is the final 10.1 update fixing car Bluetooth issues for anyone?

I had the skipping/fast forwarding then silence issue on 10.0.2/3. I updated to iOS 10.1 Beta 4 and 5 and while it didn't go silent I would have the skipping/fast forwarding issue. I just updated to 10.1 Final so we'll see.

I'll try a DFU restore if it doesn't work and finally if that doesn't work I'll go to my Apple store and try a replacement.

I had my gf connect her 7+ which was on 10.0.3 and didn't have a single issue which I thought was weird.

2012 Hyundai Tucson w/ iPhone 7, iOS 10.1 Beta 2 -- Bluetooth audio was fixed and stable, ran this way for the 2 1/2 weeks until the final came out. I assumed the final would work just as well since the fix was obviously working in beta 2 but I have found I'm back in the boat where the radio headunit will tell me "pairing failed" after 1 or 2 car on/off cycles. I did not want to stay on an older beta since I need this phone for work.

I'm still having Bluetooth issues with both my Toyota Corolla sound system and my Bluetooth headphones. Audio skipping and breaking up. It always stays connected, but is basically unlistenable. It is very intermittent.

No change with 10.1 on my 7+ with a 2015 Ford Sync. MUCH worse when I have my hearing aids connected.

FYI: I just got off the phone with Apple support and they have a list of cars that are known to be problematic, but mine was not on that list, so I'm doing some troubleshooting with them.

Do yourself a favor and call Apple if you're experiencing this problem and let them know!

Blue tooth would freeze on my Honda Accord with Iphone 7+ with 10.1. The problem has not resurfaced with the upgrade to 10.1.1

Yeah I updated to 10.1.1 . This morning I still had a few skips/stutters while listening to podcasts.
I figured out what the problem was in my case: I have a Bluetooth ODB2 device that was plugged in to the car and every so often, it would try to connect back to its application on the phone. Every time this happened, it caused the phone to dump all of its BT connections.

I did notice that connectivity to third party Bluetooth devices was listed as one of the fixes in 10.1.1

I have ODB2 but it's a standalone device that has no connections. I seem to notice mine has issues whenever the phone is getting data. This morning though there shouldn't have been a reason as my phone was in its mount screen off.
It's improved a lot since it first began, so while I'm complaining, I'm not complaining too much.

I've noticed an improvement with Bluetooth on 10.1.1, while my car connection was ok (VW RNS510) I have a device called FOBOtire which is a Bluetooth tire pressure monitoring system. On iOS 10 it was unreliable, would only connect when I had the app running on screen, yet it was slow. Now on 10.1.1 it connects instantly and give me my pressure reading without delay.

10.1 Final and now 10.2 beta and I still get stutter/skip/fastforwardy chop on a pretty regular basis.

7+. Sync system in a 2013 Ford Explorer.

I have tried every new beta since iOS 10 came out and no luck - until 10.3 b3. I have been driving with LTE on for several days now with no skips or stutters. Anyone else?

10.3 beta 3. Had it happen to me 3 times during a 45 minute car ride. Absolutely bull **** that this still is an issue.

Mine I use WMA3000B that I bought from viseeousa.com. I can have bluetooth streaming and can control music and see the library info on the car. A bluetooth solution for BMW cars.

I don't have any issue with my iPhone 7 using it to stream music to my car because of tune2air bluetooth adapter from viseeousa, it's very easy to use can control music and see the library info on the car.
