Probably useless, but I went to the Apple Store to see how much it would be to repair my Macbook Air (the screen glitches out when opening/closes, probably loose connection but they didn't even try it) and brought up my iPhone issues.
They gave me a new replacement so let's see what happens on this ride home.
I've had my phone replaced once already, no change.
I have no reason not to exchange though. It's just "No Service" at all.
I was willing to wait for the actual fix because it was just intermittent for me but I can't have a non-working phone at all.
same here. I have to at least give it a shot. I need my phone on occasion for work, so I need to do everything in my power to try and get a working phone before I can declare to them that I can't reliably be 'on call' anymore.
I don't know if it's possible to do this but has anyone tried downgrading to iOS 9 to see if this solves the problem?
Having the same problems here in the UK on my iPhone 7 Plus 256GB using both 10.0.2 and 10.1 Beta 1
I'm doing this, I told them it has a huge issue with reception and Verizon blames Apple and Apple blames VerizonOr we all start returning our phones multiple times until Apple starts asking questions.
I don't think a downgrade is possible with the new iPhones. With the older models, yes.
I'm seeing people with the 6S having issues too. I'm not sure if these are new builds that have recently shipped or last year's models that have upgraded to iOS 10 bit if they were last year's model it would be nice to know if they could test iOS 9 to see if it fixes the issue.
In saying that I had the 6S Plus running iOS 10 from day one of Beta testing and never had issues.
it might be because the phones are so in demand that not everyone who ordered even got one yet so its fair to say that it could be a few weeks till we hear more people complain as others gets their phones. What's bad is not this site, CNET, CultofMac, etc; have any articles about this issue.
