From Second camera . Optical zoom x2 .
That's not from the second camera, since in that light it won't use the tele lens. That's digital zoom.
You know and I don't ?
It is the second camera .
holy crap. those colors. well done!!!
Whatever you want to believe. If you took that with the regular Camera app, I'm telling you that is not the tele camera.
You're right. That's digital zoom.
I put x2 and the camera not activate it???
When I shooting this picture in my office I put x2 .. I don't understand why is digital?
Enough talk. More dogs.
If the light is not bright enough the iPhone will use the 1x wider lens as it lets much more light. As long the the light is bright enough, such as indoors with bright lights or outdoors in the daytime then the 2nd 2x camera will work fine.
If you were to take the same photo with the 2x camera in that lighting that photo would have been almost pitch black.
Apple really needs to put a warning on screen in dim lighting when the 2x option is selected saying something like this is 2x digital due to low light.

Ah the pet lip lolThe lip
Download Metapho. It will show you which lens was used. If the aperture is 1.8 mm then you've used digital zoom and if it's 2.8 mm then the telephoto lens was used and it's optical zoom. Unfortunately there is no way to tell which lens is being used until after you take the photo using the stock app. I bought ProCamera and it allows you to manually switch between the lenses so you can choose to use the telephoto lens, the wide angle lens or both.I know this with low light for 2th camera but I don't know when is low light the camera it's not activate. .
Thank you !
ProCam and ProCamera for sure. I own those two.
