Which Camera App is your favorite for taking photos:

ProCamera
Obscura Camera
Camera+
Manual
Standard Camera

I use ProCam4 and Pro camera (v10) and the standard camera for my photography. ProCam is used the most especially when I want to use the telephoto and when the standard iPhone camera will not switch over to it often enough because of lighting. the pro camera10 gets used a lot at night time because of its low light plus option stacks about 60 photographs for a really clean clear noise free image.

There's a very good reason why the default camera will not use the 56mm lens and that is down to the larger lens having a slower aperture of f2.8 over the f1.8 on the wider 28mm lens.

Even using the 28mm f1.8 lens set at x2 digital will produce a much clearer shot at night.
Here's an example:-

First up the 56mm f2.8

Now the same shot only this time using the 28mm f1.8 at x2 digital zoom.

Yeah I know what you mean. I don't use the F/2.8 camera at night, only in low light when The default iPhone camera will not automatically select it when I want it to. I use ProCam and select the telephoto and lower the ISO to around 100 ( I have it set to manual) or so and if I need a tripod I will use a tripod. However I shoot with low ISO when using the F2.8 indoors.

some slight CC with enlight on the portrait version. Such a good example of how this makes the iphone camera RIDICULOUSLY more usefull in day to day situations. I was curious if it could help in pictures of food, well here you go! :) Please click for full size comparison. The regular one on the left looks kinda disgusting, while the portrait version looks super tasty :D

If it works for you then that is fine. Getting the shot you want they way you want is important.

For me however, I would never contemplate this. ProCam's slowest shutter speed is 1/4sec and using the ISO100 you use on a slow f2.8 seriously limits the amount of low light you can use.
Using ISO100 on both the 28mm and 56mm Lens; if you were to set that slowest shutter speed of 1/4sec on the 56mm that would equal 1/10sec on the 28mm Lens. That means no tripod is needed.

But you are happy and again that is what counts here.

How do you stay the photographs in Procamera 10? I bought it today and do not see how to do it.
